Oh, yeah, forgot that in the exitement - the States developments are seriously cool. The resident GURPSist will find it very useful, as GURPS has quite a few states to choose from. Look out for setup notes on that when the functionality goes live!

Which is probably the biggest reason that if I ever switch to 4e, there are some things I'll just never use--square lights, square spell AOE, and a few other things are among those. Just won't happen. Color me picky.trevor wrote:It's called the "4e" dimensionwrathchild wrote: What non-euclidian universe do you live in ?

Sorry for my absence, I was buried under some RL stuff. Didn't have much time to work on MT.trevor wrote:I haven't heard from Ryss yet, so don't know his current progress.
So far I have one bugfix and one enhancement and some refactoring.
Do we have an ETA for b35?

Our DM didnt show last night - RL issues. I had to improvise and we all decided to play 4th edition. I was using B34 but it very much so got us through. Man, the players were great last night! Monsters are easy to run also when using handouts! Anyway, I was so wishing I had B35 in my hands last night - custom states, square lighting, templates... 4th edition gamers dream - DDI... heh.. Who needs em?

Certainly not I. Especially with all the "prettiness" ideas floating around. I'm sure that even if there is a feature request forum for DDI, it's won't have near the kind og response or feedback that we have here. For instance, here, when someone asks "can we have this" and the ansewr is no, we find out why the answer is no, and sometimes someone comes up with a different way for the answer to be yes (like macros affecting token props). A pay service like DDI isn't going to admit that they can't do something, so you're not going to get the kind of ideas to circumvent problems. Also, new featuers and fixes are coming out all the time here. There, you'll be lucky to see a change or new feature every few months after the initial release patch frenzy.
No thanks, I'll stick here.
One question on macros affecting token properties. Is it going to require you to be impersonating a token, just selecting a token, use the token name, or a combo of the above?

Actually, that's going to be an issue for WotC--by the time DDI actually shows up, MT and other tools are going to be so mature that very few people are going to care about DDI. In fact, that's already the case for me.dorpond wrote:Our DM didnt show last night - RL issues. I had to improvise and we all decided to play 4th edition.
