MapTool 1.1 build 14 Development progress
Here's what I'm planning for build 14:
* New quickmaps
* Image filter fixes
* Stamp/background tool
Try to get a release out before next Tuesday night.

Yeah, It's a bit tricky at the moment, build 14 should help that.
The idea with stamps is to make them unselectable, so that they don't interfere with your regular tokens.
To make a stamp:
* create a token
* double click it to bring up the properties
* change it to TOPDOWN, hit OK
* right click it to bring up the menu, select Set Facing
* rotate it to the desired location, click the mouse to set it
* double click it again, change its type to STAMP or BACKGROUND (stamps are above the grid, backgrounds are below the grid)
Yes, it's overly cumbersome. It'll be easier very, very soon

Got some coding time in today, integrated the new token tree panel.
I decided to try and see how well it would work to introduce psuedo layers with the token tree. That is, let you select the group to work with: tokens, stamps, backgrounds; then if you drop a token, it goes directly to that type. The pointer tool will then operate on the items of the selected type, so if you have Background selected, the pointer tool will select, move, and whatever only background tokens.
I'll try to finish that up some time tmrw (Sat) and make a build before the end of the weekend.

Yeeee Haaaaaaa!
I wanted to say something more eloquent, but last night was my birthday party and I'm still trying to put all the pieces together to see if I had a good time!
