Well, I had a long post typed up, but I just deleted it. I didn't want to take the threadjack any further! I can wait to hijack another thread in another forum on another day... ;)

I think the forum decided for us - my reply to Orchard's post got eaten by PhP daemons. :)

Update

Whew, I've somehow angered the hardware gods. Late last week my internet went down, spent 1.5 hours with tech support but we couldn't figure it out. So I've been offline all weekend. Gonna go get a new router tonight and see if that fixes it.

Then Friday my kids ripped the "c" key off of my laptop. Good times.

Oh yeah, then my grandma passes away yesterday (no worries, it was the right time, no sadness).

I apologize for the delays, I haven't forgotten :)

Wow.

My laptop has been missing the 'r' key for a while now for the same reason. About 80% of the keys had been removed by my kids one day, but we managed to put all but that ONE key back on.

Sorry to hear about the loss. Even when it is the right time, its still painful.

If it makes you feel any better Trevor, I'm actually a bit relieved that development has slowed a bit. My new life here in Nevada has taken away a lot of my gaming time, to the point of putting our online group on hiatus for a while. I was worried that taking a little time off was going to put me so far behind on the development of MT that I'd have to relearn everything.

Don't get me wrong, I'm constantly impressed by the rapid development of all of the RPTools applications, and I'm thrilled to have gotten into them on the ground floor so that I could keep up with these great programs.

I'm hopeful to get back into gaming in the next month, now that things are starting to get back to a somewhat reliable schedule.

So, keep up the great work Trevor! Just know that some of us don't mind a little gap between developments!

Trevor, my condolences on your Grandmother.

I understand that MT is a lobor of love, but I am also very pleased with the current build, so far. I am more than willing to wait for life issues.

I had some major connectivity issues that had developed over time and upgrading my wireless router from 802.11G to 802.11N solved all my problems... then my hard drive did a smoke check on itself, and failed. SO I took the opportunity to install a new 1TB drive. I then had the privilege of spending 4 days restoring all my data and programs from backups (thank goodness I had the foresight to keep current backups).

Anyway, all my best, and take all the time you need.

Update

I cast out the demons from the internet and am online again at home (WOO!)

My laptop is still unfortunately non conducive to development, but I'll suck it up and work on my mac to get b46 out.

I'll be traveling to the funeral for the weekend though and won't be online until next tuesday.

But I'll be sure b46 comes out next week (dorpond gave me a pep talk)

Condolences, Trevor.

MT should be a distant second on your priorities list right now. (Though of course it obviously is still second :D )

It turned out to be a really good weekend. There was the sorrow of the loss, but the other 95% of the time was celebrating life with my extended family.

I've been getting caught up and still plan b46 this weekend
