Unfortunately this is definitely 1.4 since I'll have to change a lot of stuff.Zandari wrote:projectormodeprojectormodeprojectormodeprojectormod

Is conic vision on the list to make it in? With out it conic light becomes a lot less useful.

Will we see a command similar to /gm, but that does not output to the player (for secret text and rolls)?

You have. It's called /rollsecret or /rsec for short. But they require only a die roll string and don't allow arbitrary text.

It does allow arbitrary text, it just throws an error, and repeats the text with the rolls inside. It's quite usable in this form

Hmmm any chance you could get a zoom lock toggle button in?
I save all my Campaign Files to DropBox. Not only can I access a campaign file from pretty much any OS that will run Maptool(Win,OSX, linux), but each file is versioned, so if something goes crazy wild, I can always roll back to a previous version of the same file.
Get your Dropbox 2GB via my referral link, and as a bonus, I get an extra 250 MB of space. Even if you don't don't use my link, I still enthusiastically recommend Dropbox..

Zoom-lock. For table-top projection, prevent the zoom from changing under all circumstances for that map.

In a nutshell, when using projectors, it would be nice to a) lock zoom so it's not accidentally changed (did this several times last weekend) and b) have some type of predefined menu list of zoom levels based on the cell sizes so that you could quickly get to a specific zoom size when changing from one map to another.

Azhrei put in a feature for b54 to let you type the zoom in directly to the status barjfrazierjr wrote:b) have some type of predefined menu list of zoom levels based on the cell sizes so that you could quickly get to a specific zoom size

It'd be kind of interesting to have selective text. Like part of a line will appear only on the GM computers.RedDog wrote:Will we see a command similar to /gm, but that does not output to the player (for secret text and rolls)?
So you for instance could have a macro that displays:
Ninja 1 attacks PC with sword (HIT)
Damage: 23 points
But for the DM it would look like:
Ninja 1 attacks PC with sword (HiT: 18+5+12 vs AC 32)
Damage: 23 points (5+5+7+6)
That would be really nice.

The folks with projectors will need to test it to see if it's precise enough. You can type in as many digits after the decimal as you like. It's not as fancy as I'd like but the concept needed to be tested first.trevor wrote:Azhrei put in a feature for b54 to let you type the zoom in directly to the status barjfrazierjr wrote:b) have some type of predefined menu list of zoom levels based on the cell sizes so that you could quickly get to a specific zoom size
The textfield will eventually change to an editable dropdown -- select a value from the list or type in a new one.
I'd like the Scale object to be saved with the map. If/when that happens, the contents of the dropdown box would be map-specific as well. That would allow jumping between maps and having the right scale on each one already set up.
