Very cool stuff, Dorpond. Where did you get the artwork?

The ones you see here I got here:
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=La ... ays_back=1

But be careful not to grab some that are "owned".

Many up there are modified real people, paintings and some are even created with Poser. There are a few modified "owned" art and where that falls in with copyright I am uncertain. I avoid those just in case.

It is a community site for those who make neat portraits.

Just as a side note, dorpond, it is hard to get images out of your gallery. I don't know if this is your doing or not, it could be a thing with the gallery itself, but the 'add album to cart' feature is disabled for yours. I think this would be changed in permissions if you didn't do it.

Anyone monitoring the boards know what brisingre is talking about?

Anyone else unable to get my images?

Thanks for the heads up, brisingre!

It looks like I can't get images from any of the con tributed art galleries but my own with the add album to cart feature.
Update:
I can't comment on anything that is not my own either, althogh this might be intentional. I think this is probably an administrator setting in the contributed art gallery.

There is no Add Album to Cart featuer in any album except your own, I think. not sure what the purpose is, but I agree it's probably an admin setting...

looking further (I played around with Gallery2 before choosing a different gallery Sw at one point). this is all User-selectable.

Select your own album, then Edit Permissions. in the field that says New Group Permission, enter Everybody, and then add the permissions you want everybidy to have. Example, I added Add to Cart, Add Comments, and Add Ratings.

Update:

I ahve opened my gallery up nicely. COmments, ratings, and cart.

Hopefully Mr Ice can change it so comments, Add to Cart, and Ratings are on by default.

I'll look into that this evening... those perms are set for the containing folder, so I'm guessing it doesn't inherit like it should.

That's a bummer. So people will need to change them manually whenever they create an album?

I've got a post on the gallery boards asking that question, for now new users will have to set that up themselves.

I'm hoping to get an answer and/or some developer attention over there so that we can set some defaults as a site policy.

That may be another reason I went with 4Images instead, don't remember, it's been a while.
