Just playing around with shadowy effects and such.
Hope you like it! It kinda gives a token a formal look with the inner shadow and the transcription on the ring could give it a powerful look.

It's not that I can't, nor is it not that I am unwilling; it is more that I am telling Trevor what could use a little tweeking so that it is a bit easier for Noobs.Vry wrote:I still don't really see what problem you're having with making them work unless you're just unwilling to give up the anti-aliased outer edges.
Thank you though
Hi Dorpond (of DMGenie fame),
If you want a simple way to remove the off-magenta colours from your token ring edge try doing what I did when I first created my own borders.
Use a circular selection tool to create a selection just on the inside edge of the token without clipping too much of the token edge off.
Invert the selection to have the rest of the picture in the selection except the token ring itself and then simply use a fill tool to fill the selection with magenta. This should work fine, check the sticky in the TokenTools area for the Paint Shop Pro tutorial I wrote.

D&D qualities are related inversely to those of Poker... and I love both.

Try
I took the original into GIMP, filled the outside with magenta, then selected the magenta and used the selection grow to select 1 pixel beyond that. Then I filled the selection with magenta again -- this effectively removed the antialiased pixels making a sharper edge, but that's essentially what we're asking the fudge to do in maptool.
