My old, and now dead, tablet was pretty expensive, but it was something like 11"x14". I'm currently using a 4"x5" that I got on sale from Office Depot for about $89.

It's not a Wacom, though, is it? What brand and how does it perform?

Actually didn't see any at Office Depot online, but Best Buy has this one

It's a Wacom Graphire CTE-430.

It does well enough, I kind of miss my the larger drawing space of my old one, but this 4"x5" means it's not taking up the whole desk.

Similar to that Best Buy one but simpler. Doesn't look like the Best Buy one has the notch at the top to hold the pen. I love that notch. I lost the pen so many times on my old one.

No problem. I have a bunch of big maps that I can't load without it so I rely on doing it that way.
