Post subject: **[ USER CREATIONS SUB-FORUM STRUCTURE ]**
PostPosted: Fri Apr 20, 2012 3:22 pm
This is the "final" structure for the User Creations section of the forums. At the end I'll list the descriptions.

All new threads can only be started in the "USER CREATIONS" area, not in the sub/sub-forums. Moderators will move everything. No matter where it is you should be able to post in any existing forum no matter where it is (normal restrictions for Locked forums etc apply).

The idea is to put everything together by what it is, is for. We are hoping that in the near future EVERY area will have the same "directory listing" as the one for "Campaign Frameworks" and they will be up in the User Creations area.

Requests for HELLLLP!
If you have searched the other User Creations subforums and an answer to your question has not been found, please post here!
----------------------------------------------------

Tilesets, Token Libraries, and Complete Maps
For everything about graphics/tokens developed by users and offered for others to use in their games.

Token Libraries
Threads for tokens/libraries of tokens made by MapTool users and provided for other users to make use of. Anything macro-related should be in "Drop-In Macro Resources".

Tilesets/Graphics for Map-making
Threads for tilesets and background graphics made by MapTool users and provided for other users to make use of. (This is just like the section for frameworks that users have made and offered to others, but specific to libraries of map-making tiles, objects, and backgrounds). NOTE: Graphics created to help with making tokens (special effects, token borders, etc.) are also stored here, and the post subject will have "[Token Peices] " added at the front. Stuff for maps will be "[Map Bits]"

Complete Maps
Threads for tokens/libraries of complete ready to use game maps made by MapTool users and provided for other users to make use of. (This is just like the section for frameworks users have made and offered to others, but specific to completed MapTool maps).
----------------------------------------------------

Campaign Frameworks
MapTool campaign files that encapsulate properties, tokens, and macros for a particular ruleset or game world. "Framework" is often abbreviated "FW".

D&D 4e Frameworks
Framework(s) for D&D 4e, including Veggiesama's.

[D&D3.5 + Pathfinder] Campaign Macros
Discussion concerning lmarkus' campaign framework for D&D3.x and Pathfinder.

Shadowrun 4e Frameworks
Framework(s) for SR4, including Veggiesama's.
----------------------------------------------------

Published Module Support
Custom frameworks for use with specific published modules/adventures, including token images, state images, notes on how to implement a complicated NPC using a MapTool framework, and so on. MUST NOT include the actual text from the adventure.
----------------------------------------------------

Tutorials
For teaching (or step-by-step resources) made by users to help other learn the various features of MapTool and making tokens, etc.

Graphics, Images, Tokens, Maps
Threads specific to teaching (or step-by-step resources) for making any kind of graphic image for us in RPtools applications (mostly MapTool and TokenTool).

Drop-In Macros and Scripts
Threads specific to teaching (or step-by-step resources) for writing macros and scripts for use in MapTool.

Campaign Frameworks
Tutorials on building a framework for your game system.
----------------------------------------------------

Drop-In Macro Resources
These are tools and utilities that make it easier to run games. This includes Lib: macro tokens dropped into MapTool to manage the game, a conversion file for CharacterTool to allow use in MapTool, or just about anything else you can think of -- except graphics with macros and anything specific to a particular campaign framework. Those are already covered by the Tilesets subforum and the Links and External Resources forum.
