Hakai Kousen framework - yet another Pokémon RPG

Hi all,

I wanted to talk a bit about the work I'm doing for a personal project I run since 2009: a Pokémon pen-and-paper RPG that I created just for fun, but that I maintain with friends: Hakai Kousen (in Japanese, Hyper Beam).

A bit of history:
I had put the project to pause since I now work in the US, but during last weeks, someone from the French web TV PixelSpray told me he wanted to create a series of shows using my game and therefore, I decided to give him a hand for handling MapTool and writing macros.
For two weeks, I've been working on familiarizing myself with MapTool and finally I came with a framework that is surely far from being finished but that is working fine for the moment. Its aim is not to replace a pen-and-paper experience, but to simplify the players' experience when playing over the internet.

For Pokémon experts, let's say the Framework is adapted for Generations 1 thru 5, includes the new "Fairy" type and the Mega-Evolution concept.

TODO
- Include attacks and talents for Pokémon
- Add tokens for humans
- Include data for Generation 6 Pokémon and adapt the Macros to take them into account
