Top-Down Metal Chests

Post by Altrunchen »

Hello, so I made 36 colored metal chests and 30 grayscale metal chests. Some of the ones I saw in the default mapping elements pack for Maptool looked nice but were too rusty and a bit too cube-shaped for my taste. So I decided to do what I normally do and make a bunch of top-down metal chests with a hell of a lot of palette swaps so that people can have variety and such. I also think I finally found a good way to make black and white swaps as well. Before I would just mess around with the levels of the image (as an overlay so it's less destructive editing) but then I just figured I'd use the brightness overlay and sure enough it did the trick. So after much ado We have around 66 chests here in this zip file. I hope you enjoy the variety!

Sorry, still haven't. Been busy as can be. X_X

I tend to do these when I have some spare time, but I suppose I could sacrifice that for setting up the drive.

But I hope you enjoy them! :)

Well I'm glad I could help. But I do have a question, someone over on Cartographer's Guild said that I'd be better off attaching the files to my posts instead of linking to mediafire. Their argument was that people are hesitant to go to mediafire because of potential malware attacks. Is there any credibility to this to your knowledge?

I personally detest mediafire.

When I opened it and downloaded this just now, i was left with a page stating that my "Chrome may be out of date" crap website. Um, chrome auto-updates? Not sure what the product is and I know better to bother with em, but others may not be so inclined.

edit, it was: opensoftwaredownload.com :: http://www.2-spyware.com/remove-opensof ... p-ads.html

Hence, dropbox, google drive, one drive, all better solutions than media-fire.

in reaction to the OP: once more thank you!

and yes dropbox is WAY better. It for one easily allows you to update packages on the fly.
