Do you have a PNG of the hydra with a transparent background?

It's extra work to make it into a token with a transparent background.

The two images were created differently, ie not converted. Whoever made these did them as 3d models and just changed the texture. That's a lot different than trying to re-texture the model by hand. I dinked with it but it wasn't coming out very well. One problem was making a distinction between heads without one texture flowing in to the next. I would probably just take the statue image duplicate 2 of the heads adding them to the 3 head version to make 5.

in rough detail:
convert to grayscale
convert back to rgb
change color balance
use brush stroke filter
put a pedestal beneath it.

o and gaussian blur (a bit)
