Changing Campaign Macros while server is running (Bug?)

I have Maptools running on a server so that I and my playgroup can access it 24/7.
I was editing some Campaign macros then left the server. When I connected to it again some time later I got the old Campaign macros from before the edit.

I had to shut down the server inside maptools and start it again so that people connecting to it get the newest version of the campaign macros.

Not sure if that is intended or a bug.
