VBL line thickness

Post by xavram »

I'm seeing this in 1.4.0.5.

When I use the freehand tool to draw VBL lines, they are about 2 pixels thick, about what I would expect. However, if I use the square or diamond tool, then the lines are like 10-12 pixels thick...definately not what I want.

Is there a setting somewhere that controls this or is this an bug?

Are you talking about hollowed or solid?

I'm not seeing it. Testing with 1.4.0.5 and 1.4.1.7.

The red "Pen" does seem larger when dragging to select the area, but the VBL laid down is the same 2 pixel width as the line tool (and it should, I believe it's a subclass so they all share the same attributes).

Although, it wouldn't be a terrible enhancement to allow "mousewheel" to change the thickness of the pen while drawing? Maybe in a future build. So if you are seeing something different in 1.4.0.5 feel free to post a zoomed in picture with side by side comparison.

Real life distracting me from important Maptool work, I'll see if I can recreate this issue and send specifics about what version I saw it in.
