REPRO:
1. Configure a computer with an extended desktop over two monitors.
2. Open InitTool
3. From InitTool launch Group Tool
4. Move GroupTool over to the second monitor.
5. Open the "Add..." dialog
6. If it appears on the main monitor, move it over to the second monitor
7. Close GroupTool and InitiTool
8. Switch desktop to single monitor view
9. Re-open InitTool
10. Re-launch GroupTool
OBSERVED:
GroupTool tab appears in the taskbar but the window can not be seen or accessed. This is because it is still opening at a location on the non-existant second monitor.
EXPECTED:
The GroupTool window should open on the visible portion of the desktop
NOTES:
If you go into the registry and find the window location values for GroupTool and change the X coordinate to something on the main window (say 10), then the GroupTool will appear. However, because of step 6, if you try to "Add..." something, you are completely stuck as that dialog is also displayed on the non-existant second monitor and is a modal dialog and, as you can't see it, you can't do anything with it or get back to the main program. Obviously you can also modify the X coordinates of the "Add..." dialog, but before that will work you must close the tool and, at this point, you have to use task manager to do so.
