Compound initiative

Post by curiouschris »

I've been trying to get my head round InitTool, specifically I'm trying to get it to allow each character / onster to have their own initiative value (1-20ish) to which an individual, automated 1d10 is added, to arrive at a total initiative for that round, rerolled the next.

Can it do this ? - the proble is, I don't know how the initiative odels work so a just guessing :^)

Cheers,

Chris

I think that both versions can do what you are asking. On the old version set the initiative modifier on the combatant to be the base value and in the Tools->Options menu set the die roll to 1d10 instead of 1d20. For the new init tool you would want to write a simple script to do the same thing.
