What about calculated fields? Did I miss a post somewhere?

I thought this had come up before but danged if I can find it.

I'm guessing RPTroll is thinking about systems where two stats might get added together and then divided by 2 to give some target number or something.

I thought it had come up before as well. :-)

Oh well, here's the idea. Sometimes you have fields that are based on other fields. The one that comes to mind most often is total hitpoint and dammge taken. The calculated field should also support simple formulas i.e. =5+1-3-$hitpoints (or var designation you want to use for customer elements.

Yeah, this would be useful, for calcing things like Attack bonuses, damage bonuses, etc. Also calculated for strings as well, concatenation to form a title or some such like for the PC, "Roger the Brave: Ranger3/Druid2", all taken from other fields.
