Here's a possible way to reveal the inside of the buildings, you can just right click on the roof and "change to background". then to re-apply the roof, use the token tree and find the roof on the background plane and "change to object"

Interesting work around !

I have looked at it in the past and messed around with it a bit, but never realized the extent of its functionality until I saw the Demos.

Well good. I am glad the demos were of some value.

If you want a personal demo some evening, send me a PM and I can throw one together for you. Get your friends - the more the better. We can make a party out of it! We'll drop down some tokens for you and have you walk around exploring the maps.

Hey Dorpond, any time I or Dave run a quick "how to session" we always get the ohhh awwww woooowwww, when ever we explain using the token's macros and speech properties. It would be a great addition to your-our- videos.

Thanks Mikey :D

Just wait until we get self referential variables into macros and speech :)

OK, that is a good idea! I will get to that once I have a free moment. Thanks for the suggestion!

I added a new tutorial that I use to help me get around. I place all my handouts on the map so using this trick allows me to warp me to certain places of the map quickly.

Hope this comes in handy for you!

Things covered:
- Macros at the token level
- /goto command and coordinates
- using a clear image to your advantage

http://www.rptools.net/dorpond/demos/Qu ... kMaps.html

I'm trying to use textures like the ones in this demo, but they're not resizing when drawn on the map like they are in the demo. I'm using version 1.3b24. Am I missing a setting somewhere or do the textures have to be that small in the first place? The textures I'm using are all 200px square.

You can't change the scale of textures currently. Look for it before 1.3 is officially released

I wasn't wanting to change the scale of textures. Just wanted it to work like shown in the that demo. When he was drawing the box, it showed the texture as really big and then it shrunk down and tiled into the box he drew. I figured out that changing the grid size to 200 px works for all the textures I've been using.
