Re: [D&D4E] Libraries

MacroPoliceBox has fairly automated copy paste of stuff like that from the compendium links and character builder outputs. Actually leaving the info in a distributed framework is probably going to get copyright stomped.

[DnD4E] NuVegi Framework (1.8.3 compatable)

So I was working with the old Vegisama framework in the forums and have been updating it to both work with current branches and also have some new or improved features and was told that it's okay to post with attribution! So like, here is my update. It even should take old tokens just fine without c...

Re: Veggiesama's Framework (D&D 4e) -- Discussion

In the incredibly unlikely event anyone ELSE still uses this framework, it's broken by the json changes in current maptool.
In the execDamageRolls macro, there is an eval() that needs to be an eval(string()).
I have a more up to date version of this framework in the event anyone wants it.

Re: Announcement: MapTool 1.5.5 Released

On my headless ubuntu install, 1.5.5 gets a npe on launch and doesn't finish opening. Same thing on my friends.

failed in constructor of tool net.rptools.maptool.client.tool.PointerTool.java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException

1.5.4 worked fine. 1.5.5 works on windows

Re: MapTool in the Cloud

Are you not starting maptools as a server on the cloud then connecting to it as gm client? Then whenever you add a picture or whatever, it auto-transfers to the server, which will distro it out when other clients connect.

Least it has worked that way for me.

Re: Announcement: TokenTool 2.1 Released

How exactly do you launch the jar file in windows. I don't really want to have another 100m java install just for tokentool.

Re: Announcement: MapTool 1.5.1 Released

Is naming drawings actually showing up as named for different clients and persisting through server connections? On mine running this, it seems to set with right clicking the draw explorer and setting the name, but nobody else sees it and it's gone if you disconnect and reconnect. Even tried making ...

[1.4.1.7] [1.4.1.8] getName() calling setName()

Tried on both versions, different computers.

with token impersonated and selected
[h: getname()]
returns
Function "setName" requires at least 1 parameters; 0 were provided
[h: getname("Test")]
returns no message but sets current token's name to Test

Maptools chat avatars

For some reason maptools uses the portrait picture for avatars. Is there a way to override that to use the layout picture? Or, perhaps more usefully, any arbitrary picture?

Re: Setting Info and RPing

Mio edges near the two with their super secret private conversation. Eventually she chimes in, "If I were to get an orb, would I sorta-attune to it, since the red one says I'm sorta many of them?"

"You bow to apologize though," she corrects, "And there is reason. If you all decide you don't like me I get sent away." She looks away, "I would, however, appreciate if you could check, if it's not a bother."
