Re: Auto-expose fog on token movement
Yeah, so this worked fine with my laptop last night. I also got it working on my desktop by importing my reg settings from my laptop and deleting the .maptool folder in my user directory. Server settings on start up? doesn't work just in gm mode (no server), but I tried with a server, gm client and ...

Re: Auto-expose fog on token movement
I tried this on my laptop and it works with b87. I'll delete my mt reg and cache on my desktop and see if I can get it working there. Weird.

Re: Auto-expose fog on token movement
Server settings on start up? doesn't work just in gm mode (no server), but I tried with a server, gm client and player client with and without player auto reveal on (no individual views) and it doesn't work. Won't expose for WHOM? you or the players on their end? GM, but I tried player expose and t...

Auto-expose fog on token movement
I ran a game a few weeks back using 1.3.b87. I could not get auto expose to work. Also, if I tried to use expose->only currently visible, everything blacks out. The only thing I seem to be able to get to work is expose->visible area and expose->last path. I am running a game tomorrow night and I hav...

Re: Unowned Token Selection
Frankly, after doing all this, I'm wondering how useful it actually will be. That's what makes this tool, well, cool :) You can run a game with zero scripts and a few tokens, rolling real dice with pen and paper, "traditional" or, with great features like this, close to fully automated, o...

[any] Control + O => File Open
I think I've requested this before, but an accelerator for file open, like the widely used/accepted Ctrl-O would be nice. It's annoying to be forced to use the mouse or the alt-f then O (which is somewhat less effective in java apps - in windows apps, you can hit alt, then f then o, but in java apps...

Re: Is there an API for MapTool?
If you're referring to an API to the internals of MapTool, the answer is no. However, if/when a server is running, much can be done from outside of MapTool using the networking protocol. It's not perfect, though, as that doesn't allow panels to open or macros to run on the server... Thanks Az. Any ...

Is there an API for MapTool?
Is there an API for MapTool? and if so, is there a guide or documentation?

Re: Javascript vs. LUA
Being able to use an external file seems secondary; copy/paste being the wonder that it is. Even working with one file at a time, it is troublesome at best copy/pasting back and forth and, at least for me, I often get bit by inadvertently working with the wrong version. Having only one file elimina...

Re: printing out maps
Palmer's right, maptool isn't designed for image/print output, however, if you created the map entirely in maptool, using the paint tools or stamps, and you don't have an input map, per se, then the best you can do is export your map using the File->Export Screenshot... You can maximize this by usin...

Savage World Dice Rolling
How do you roll a d6 and a d8 with XdYesT (or some other combination of dice)?
I can do XdY of the same die type, but not when they are different (like d6 wild and d8 skill)
