Re: So, I hate my job.
A quick word to you about finding an English teaching job in Japan: If you don't get accepted to JET, it is not all fun and games. DO NOT work for dispatch companies. They will screw you over like nothing you've ever been screwed over before. They will use you and then get rid of you without the sli...

Re: Beyond Maptool 1.3: Minimum Screen Resolution Recommenda
Ahh, thanks Az for the explanation. I was quite mistaken. So MT scales to the res of the monitor but not the graphics, makes sense.

Re: Beyond Maptool 1.3: Minimum Screen Resolution Recommenda
I agree that the default should be between 8x6 and 10x7 range for projectors and the like, however I would also like to have the ability to select resolution suitable to my needs from within the program like a few game titles. I have a very sexy 21" 1920x1080 monitor right now and for the fores...

Re: Symbolic Tiles
Wow, that looks great man. Indeed, if you could release it, or point the way to where to get it, I would be most happy :D Having this as a handout (lindsay's) to my players would really help bring the game to a new level. I have some maps in CC3, but that takes wayy to long to hack out symbolic maps...

Re: 4e interactive sheet & utilities
Hey DN! Would it be possible for you to post beta versions of the updated framework for the brave souls who dare? They could do massive testing (many eyes makes bugs shallow...) and report feedback/tweaks/fixes. I would definitely be able to give some feedback via actual play testing this week (the ...

Re: Multiple Maps or one map in campaign file
It all depends on what you want, your hardware and your player's hardware limitations. I personally have a 12gb 4 core dell beast that does my huge maps, but my players are running macbook with 2 gb ram and some strange notebook with 4gb. They sometimes lag, or take a while longer to load via my wir...

Re: Campaign Cartographer vs Fractal Mapper
Well, the only way to find out is to use them for yourself. I have no idea if they have trial editions, but I'm sure you could "procure" them and check them out. I personally have CC3 (good $60 program) and enjoyed it but am now using maptools. I haven't used fractal mapper. CC also has ni...

Re: Lindsay's Generic Tools (Whisper, Move Tokens, Handouts)
If instead of a 3x3 random grid, could I shrink it down to a 2x2? [H: cntX = 1d3-2 ] [H: cntY = 1d3-2 ] is what I need to change, correct? [H: newX = dX + cntX + 1 ] [H: newY = dY + cntY + 1 ] I leave alone? Edit: After testing: [H: cntX = 1d2-1 ] [H: cntY = 1d2-1 ] [H: newX = dX + cntX ] [H: newY =...
