Re: Rico's PF2e Framework - preview 2
Thanks a bunch for this Rico! I just wanted to drop in to tell you that my group has come back to MapTool now that we have to play remotely. Your PF2e Framework is making it a much better experience than we were expecting, so I just wanted to say thanks and provide some positive feedback.

Re: Runs from BAT files, but not Launcher
Thanks Rumble! I should have thought of that.
I guess after my futile attempts to use Symlinks to move my OS directory to a SSD I wiped symlinks out of my memory.

Re: Setting up MT for GURPS
Let me be clear...I really have no issue with paying for the hard work to create the framework. I just hate to encourage SJG's closed system stance. It's more of a 'vote with my dollars' thought. If they'd allow it to be distributed without restriction, however, I'd be more than happy to donate to t...

Re: Setting up MT for GURPS
Wasn't this IP debate decided years ago when some game company tried to claim that the process of evaluating success by comparing a die roll to a target was their copyright? I seem to recall that formula and relationships could be patented, but copyrights do not cover processes, only 'content'. But ...

Re: Runs from BAT files, but not Launcher
I've got the same problems with Win7 and J64. I just use the .bat file and stick the MapTools icon image on it. That way I can use >1536 memory. But I also can not get the launcher to work. I even tried editing the .cfg file to set the path, but all it does is call the virtual machine in the PATH. N...

Re: Stack Size and Memory
Heh! Seriously, I didn't know there was such a thing and I can even hack my way around java a bit (alas, no handshake yet!) I'll go poke around and see if it can be used to choose 64bit vs 32bit installs on an application basis. If that's the case, then I'll have to retract my evil thoughts about Su...

Re: Stack Size and Memory
I believe this is discussed in the sticky thread that deals with map resolution and memory requirements, but I'm not positive. It's not. Make sure you get the 64 bit version of java. It should install in the Program Files rather than the Program Files (x86) directory on Windows 7. I had both instal...

Re: Compiled Cmpgn File of Pathfinder Addons
This is a great resource. Thanks Imper1um! I've been trying to point people who are having trouble to this compiled version. We might want to find a way to suggest that people use this for PF instead of the one on the original thread. (I thought we'd closed that thread....but people continue to post...

Re: [D&D3.5 + Pathfinder] MT1.3b63 Campaign Macros r05
Ok .. so I was having the problem with equipment and when I was testing different macros I got the same missing item for stat checks as well. So I started debugging the code and decided to try going in and adding the following to my D&D3.5 campaign properties StatCheckMod:{"Strength" ...

Re: [D&D3.5 + Pathfinder] MT1.3b63 Campaign Macros r05
Hey there all. As others, I'm new to Maptool as well. I have b70 up and running and have really been enjoying playing with all of it's bells and whistles. I'm getting ready to run a Pathfinder campaign so I tried installing this framework. I followed the instructions word for word on the first post...

I just got around to trying this out. I love the simplicity!
I'm definitely using it in my game.
Thanks yet again, Plo!

Re: TR's Pathfinder Toolbar
Theoretically, you could do that now with 24 hours duration effects. I definitely see the appeal of your idea, though. One obstacle to implementing a calendar is that not everyone is using the Golarion calender in Pathfinder. So, at least in the short term, I'm far more likely to implement "da...

Re: Plothos' 3.5 & Pathfinder Spell Managers
<passes Plo a cold beer> That's awesome, Plo! I've been using your original spell manager for quite a while now and I'm really looking forward to the update. I've got a (virtual) room full of players wanting to implement the PF Advanced Player's Guide. I've told them it won't happen until some addi...

Re: TR's Pathfinder Toolbar
What's really cool is that you create a timer entry, add it to the list and as long as you use the initiative management system and advance the rounds the timer event goes away at the appropriate time. That is worth the price of admission all by itself. Now if we could just expand the timer system t...

Re: Plo's Inventory Manager
Lol...looks like I edited my comment while you were posting Booga! Sort-of a reverse Ninja I suppose. I was able to do just that and have discovered the very issue you mentioned. The Macros to add new categories don't look too hard. I'd like us to establish some sort of standard so that when someone...
