Re: Equipping Armor does not change AC
...in the end, just entering the [Defense] values is a much better solution. Considering, I agree with this. There's so many uppers and downers that go into calculating each Defense score that I prefer the foundation code to remain simple. That's the point of Slim, right? I'll just tell players. I'...

Question about Defenses
Hi,
It appears that when equipping armor, the AC defense (and others?) is not adjusted.
Am I missing something in my testing ?

Re: Rumble's 4E Framework, Version 5 - Discussion
Whoa, hold on then. Colmarr, are you working from a copy older than version 5.1.2? Because when I look at my template for 5.1.2, that fix to handleStates is already present (it's been there since 5.1.0). So DarkWiz, AidyBaby, if you're using the latest versions, you don't need to make any changes. ...

Re: Rumble's 4E Framework, Version 5 - Discussion
No, the two macros shouldn't behave differently. The "End Turn" macro is a legacy leftover, really; it's much easier (IMO) for the DM to handle that when the player says "I'm finished." However, the two macros should work identically, so it's clear that I just forgot to apply th...

Re: MapTool via SVN, Revision 5591
I suppose that's possible. I really wanted the next one to be Final though! We'll see what Dorpond says, as I trust his opinion on such things. :) Look, after developing code and managing small and very very big programming projects over more than two decades, I feel the need to pass on some...

Re: MapTool 1.3 Release Candidate Build 81 (1.3-RC4)
.BUG STILL AROUND: I noticed that this build does not have a fix to the problem I call the "start up bounding rectangle too small" problem. This means that when a campaign is loaded, if tokens are outside of some kind of invisible rectangular area, they are not displayed until a zoom-in / ...

Re: Rumble's 4E Framework, Version 5 - Discussion
You can just drag-drop the file token (from you file browser like explorer) into a maptool map. The file should have the .rptok file extension - if not rename it like that. I've found this particular file must have been saved under MT1.3b80: (some?-) earlier releases get an error when you try to dr...

Re: MapTool 1.3 Bugfix Build 77
Yes, acceptable workarounds were found and none of our group is worrying about the problems any longer. Details: For the topic of losing tokens in the VBL layer, since it always has been "center of token must be grabbed" to move it out of a VBL boundary, there is no issue with b77 specific...

Re: MapTool 1.3 Bugfix Build 77
. During a game yesterday we had to stop play while using b77. The changes to LOS and VBL are very nice and add a sense of greater spookiness to the crypt the group currently occupies. However b77 seems to have broken things that used to work fine in Rumble's 507 framework. Some things that were pro...

Re: [Rumble 5.0.7] BUG: Acrobatics skill adding 1/2 level tw
I also found an incredibly minor bug, which has no impact on game play but might be a bit of a problem if you are moving characteristics around. Character Editor -> Skills -> Arcana : the number shown is wrong (missing, I think, Ability and 1/2 level) BUT the inside value used for calculations is co...

Re: [Rumble v5.0.5 BUG] : No bkwd-compatible support for Tok
Thanks much for the quick reply. The Skills issue is very odd. I am completely discounting the issue of trained or not-trained sums. But I was working with a number of well-formed 503 tokens. One of them, simply dragged in, showed things like "ability+1/2 level" of 51 for a second level ch...
