So sad.

You know what I find sad about all this? Uh...besides the fact I didn't win?

Go back to the first post in this thread and look at the date that it started. I think I cried a little.

Re: VidChat? Plz?

Just checked out the Wiki for iChat... cool that it's free, but does it only support 4-way VC? I don't even see mention of VC as a feature on the Apple site . I don't know how many it supports. 4 is the most that I have attempted personally. It might do more than that, or perhaps not. I don't know....

Re: VidChat? Plz?

If iChat can do multiparty VC p2p, then it's cutting some corners. Low resolution, low voice-quality, and/or lower fps per stream. The average broadband connection simply can't serve decent rez, audio, and fps to more than a couple locations simultaneously (if that.) I didn't say iChat was p2p, I j...

Re: VidChat? Plz?

I'm sure there's a good answer for this, but what I don't understand is why there has to be a bandwidth cost at all with video chat. Seems like you could do it peer-to-peer just fine. And no, I don't mean p2p in the bittorrent sense, but p2p meaning that the video is passing back and forth between t...

Re: The MapTool 1.3 Stable Pool!

Prices are high because the suppliers hold back the supply and force a higher market value. That higher price causes the risk. I agree. Ever wonder why industrial grade diamonds are comparatively cheap, and they come from the same source? The price is different because it's a different grade of dia...

Re: VidChat? Plz?

Suggestion: Some forums I have been on have a "Shameless Plugs" or "Pimphouse" sub-forum, where people can promote themselves or a product or service. If there's an artist here who will make maps or tokens for money, someone who has a product that will enhance on-line RP, etc, t...

I'm not a moderator, and I realize that it isn't MY opinion of "what is spam" that matters, so I'm not trying to imply that someone isn't doing their job. Having said that though, I don't agree with the decision in this case. Let me tell you how this happened from my perspective. I get an ...

Frankly, unless that website starts offering a lot more information and screenshots, I'm not going to bother looking at it anymore. You'll need to offer much more than that. Well, that and the fact that he clearly just registered here so he could spam us about his competing product. Very tasteless ...

Re: RANT: Why NBC's Heroes is a train wreck....

I would LOVE to see Whiskey, Tango and Foxtrot go out on a mission together and have Toffer be the only one that gets the joke. I can just see him going "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? WTF? Am I the ONLY one that uses the internet around here?!" On this weeks episode I got one step closer to this...

Thanks for the linkage Orchard! I would really appreciate any help I can get from everyone for finding any bugs and suggesting new features, and of course spreading the news. Note that I've updated the text rules so those links you've put in won't look right anymore now. Dot's turn into spaces: http...
