Re: Writing a fantasy "book"
I received an iPad last November and I have been eReading since using the Kindle App. One of the best things about I like is the ability to download a sample and test the waters as it were. I highly suggest using this feature. Unless I already know and have enjoyed the author, it will have to come w...

Re: Wanted by the RPTools Team: A new team member!
I am eager to see what the next version brings as well. I had many discussions with Trevor on what our thoughts it should be and I am curious to see if any of those things happen. Plus, with new members involved, I am sure it can only be better than we ever imagined.

And is probably to blame for maybe a third of the things you hate in MapTool. All those late night chats with Trevor, I was really trying to fight back those darned elves (and dorpond)!

Nope, not been around, been focusing on work a lot (back in the desert again) and my own blog. Keith is playing in a game I run and I thought I should come by and contrat him on his new job.

Congrats Keith! I know you will do an awesome (no pun intended) job! I for one, like your new avatar.

Re: How MT should roll dice
NO! I want it now!
Yeah, I am thinking so far ahead of you guys, you are all eating my dust. I am thinking the next generation of MT (after trevor gets all those silly patches you guys made worked out in the current build).

Re: Pathfinder subscription service?
Thanks for the ideas, I will certainly be looking for a decent way to purchase stuff (though if our blog keeps working out, I may get enough stuff for free to review!)
For now I think i am good, especially since discovering Swords & Wizardry!

Re: Library Token: Dice Box
Creating a macro button would be fine - could it be put in a group named "Dice Box" or something like that? Excellent idea. Being able to edit the saved expressions would be excellent, though not essential. Remember you should be able to hard code edit any macro in the normal way, so you ...

Well, we don't like to fudge stuff, but hey, if the ends justify the means.....

Re: How MT should roll dice
Yeah, sorry I guess I was not clear (and probably was speaking as if you all had used FG). The dice sit on the map directly, there is a button to reset them to a certain point on the screen so they are nice and organized. There is only one die of each type at any one time (if you roll 5d6, all five ...

Re: How MT should roll dice
Definitely! I think we should certainly take the angle that you could call the 3d dice from the macro (maybe vry could have a radio button "enable 3dDice™" to embed that into the macros!). So you could still hit a macro button in the campaign panel, then on the map an invisible hand throws...

Re: How MT should roll dice
"Maptool: Taking the Fun out of Functional !" LOL I just spent a good portion of my Sunday learning how to make complex macros, reminded me allot of the first time I attempted to write XML.....and I hated this, just as much. While the above mock ups of dice rollers look very nice I think ...

I am curious as to what you think the "much more pressing concerns" are for MapTool (not being a dick, just curious).

that looks great! (now if we could just get rid of the dumb looking 'windows' window frame around it...perfect!)

Re: Pathfinder subscription service?
Thanks for the information.
Yeah I only use Paypal for my rpg purchases and donating money to various little causes and such. Not looking for a full blow bank with it, just an easy way to spend my 'allowance' the wifey lets me waste on silly game things.
