Mordheim Framework

Well, I've finally managed to get this to a state where I could see letting other people use it. Thanks to LokeyLysmith for giving me the push I needed to get this posted! This framework will allow you to play a game of Games Workshop's Mordheim using MapTool. It should be considered a work in progr...

Re: Bug? Almost-infinite "input value" windows

IF you make a mistake... Yes, the brackets are actually okay. If you download some game frameworks here and have a look at the campaign properties you will find all sorts of examples of how to include code and calculations there. However, if you stuff it up, say by using an undefined variable in yo...

Re: Wrong External IP Address

Thank you for pointing this out! I had noticed this problem but I didn't give it much weight. For some reason I thought it was okay. Now I just need some of my players to wake up so I can test this!

much obliged,
Meshon

Re: Warhammer fantasy (NOT RPG) Framework

I've got a Mordheim (based on WFB) framework that works okay and lemme tell ya. The rules are full of so many exceptions it's pretty tough to program. I'm also thinking that moving large units in formation might be a challenge, though if you search for wolph42's Bag of Tricks I think he (or someone)...

Re: Building my first Framework(Help!)

My apologies for a late reply! Here is the code for the "autoattacker" macro that the built macro calls. Hopefully it's still useful. As to the placeholder values... I don't remember what they were for. I think it was my clunky way to deal with some issue I was having somewhere else in the...

Re: Building my first Framework(Help!)

You might want to try using createMacro to allow players to build their own macros from input information. This is an old one I built a long time ago (it was build 76!) but you might find it useful as an example. It opens an input dialog and then builds a macro based on what was input. <!--This ...

Re: Token Tool malfunctioning, suspect latest flash update

Thanks Az! After your post I thought to myself, "If Az has Java 7 then so can I!" TokenTool now works fine, and I don't think I broke MapTool either.

Java 7 update 25 on 10.8.4
wish I had fancy looking code like Az

cheers,

Re: Token Tool malfunctioning, suspect latest flash update

I did a Java update yesterday, on OS 10.8 and I was even thinking as I did it, "I shouldn't be doing this" but I did it anyway. After reading this I opened TokenTool and got this: http://gallery.rptools.net/d/83571-2/Screen+Shot+2013-06-22+at+4_16_58+PM.png So I'm missing a few things and ...

Re: Macro to rotate or change image of a token

You'll want your macro to use getTokenFacing , increment that value and then use setTokenFacing to change it. [h: airshipID = getSelected()][h: currentTokenFacing = getTokenFacing(airshipID)][h: newTokenFacing = currentTokenFacing + 10][h: ...

Re: [b89 - BUG] getDistance()

I think he means "pixels" are the same measurement as what is referred to on the wiki as "the default is to return the distance in Distance Per Cell units". One of the settings in MapTool allows you to specify the size per cell, effectively how wide they are in pixels. Right, th...

Re: [b89 - BUG] getDistance()

I may be missing something here, but I don't think that getDistance can return the number of pixels. It can either return the distance in cells or the distance in cell units, which is whatever you have set in the map editing window. So if you are playing that each cell is 5 feet then it will return ...

Re: getInitiativeToken troubles

What might work is if you allow the initiative to advance as normal and then check the token once it has initiative. If the token has the stunned state you could then branch and immediately run nextInitiative to "skip" it's turn. Hope that helps! cheers, Meshon Edit: Sorry, I see why this ...

Re: Map: Ruined neighbourhood

Well, I feel sheepish. I posted this and then haven't checked back in ages. My apologies to those who asked for things. I've uploaded a version of the map without the markers and text (I think I got it all), which you can find here . Sorry for not including a thumbnail, I just can't figure out how t...

Mordheim Campaign

Well I've been meaning to post here for quite awhile, since I've been playing Mordheim using MapTool and having a great time. Our campaign group is small (only four players ever, usually two at a time) but we've played a lot of games. The framework we use is one I've been building onto for awhile; i...

Yep, a map that gives me vertigo = awesome. I already told you how much I like this elsewhere, but I grabbed the download this time.
