Re: Overlapping tokens selection issue

So just pressing the "T" key selects the token you own? For most players, that's a single token on a map...that could work, I will let my players know.

Overlapping tokens selection issue

We've been using Isometric maps and figure tokens for the last few weeks and for the most part, its been a lot of fun and added some visual punch to our gaming sessions. But last week, we ran into an issue where players couldn't select their tokens, because they were "behind" Huge NPCs. https://i.po...

clicking on macroLink should only trigger once

I have a DM only link that posts to the chat window. Sometimes, i accidently click on this more than once...shaky hands or lag! But when this happens, the link fires off and re-applies the condition to the token and I don't want that. Is there any way to make a link only work on the FIRST time its c...

Re: Broadcasting as a a big loop is processed

Duh!!! Thanks for pointing that out, now its doing what I want. Tried this on something simple first, setting token Opacity (so that it fades in/out depending on what I passed in) and that worked great. Will see how to integrate this into my more complicated macro, now that I understand the gist of ...

Re: Broadcasting as a a big loop is processed

AM, I read your other link a little more carefully, and I think I got it... Call this... [h : count = json.get(macro.args, "count")] [h : maxCount = json.get(macro.args, "maxCount")] [MACRO("[email protected]:PC_CombatMacros"):count] [h, if(count < maxCount), code : { [h : macroLink = macroLinkText("Tes...

Re: Broadcasting as a a big loop is processed

See, I would think that this would broadcast the count as it parsed through the loop, since defer is set to 0. [h : count = 0] [h, while(count < 1000, ""), code : { [h : count = count + 1] [h : execFunction("broadcast", json.append("[]", count), 0, "all")] }] But, instead, it waits until the whole l...

Re: Broadcasting as a a big loop is processed

So the loop itself looks like... [h, foreach(attack, totalAttacks), code : { [h, if(isFumble) : return(0, 1)] [h : i = i + 1] [h, if(extraAttackString != ""), code : { [h, if(i == 1) : broadcast(extraAttackString)] [h, if(i == 2 && isRapidShot) : broadcast("Rapid Shot Attack")] }; { [h, if(i == 1 &&...

Broadcasting as a a big loop is processed

I know that maptool only posts to the chat window once the whole process is done but are there any workarounds for this? We have a loop that calls another macro each time and that macro usually takes .25 to .4 seconds to run (very complicated, math heavy). This is no big deal when the loop is only 2...

Re: Campaign i saved 1 hour ago, can't open it now

DiskInternals didn't work for me, it was called DataNumen Zip repair that finally did the trick.

Re: Campaign i saved 1 hour ago, can't open it now

I finally found a zip repair utility that restored the content.xml file...while not perfect, this at least gives me a starting point to recreate what I lost from the library token.

Thanks for advice/insight all!

Re: Campaign i saved 1 hour ago, can't open it now

what about the assetcache directory? Would there be any way to get the library token out of that?

I'm obviously swimming in unfamiliar maptool waters here...never had a campaign file blow up like this.

Re: Campaign i saved 1 hour ago, can't open it now

I had checked the backup folder, but what was in there was a much older file copy of the campaign. When I ran the zip file repair on the corrupted campaign, it turned the content.xml file into a folder...which was empty. Maybe I'm not using a good zip repair utility? Can anyone recommend one to try?

Re: Campaign i saved 1 hour ago, can't open it now

Memory settings are max 4G, min 1G, stack size of 5M. I looked in autosave folder, same issue on that file, corrupted as well. That only saves one file right? There's no history there. Tried running a zip repair tool on campaign, said it worked...but still didn't open in Maptool and I knew it wasn't...
