Re: New new kickstarter from the "Mote team"… again
Don't know. It's the same project, but a new Kickstarter launch. I created it:
- so the new launch doesn't go unnoticed thinking it's the same one
- in case this one would trigger new questions

Re: New kickstarter from the "Mote team"
If Sift is good enough, I wouldn't mind paying a one time fee for VTT and $24 a year. People pay alot more for Roll20 and other programs like Obsidian Portal and HeroLab. I think they're just going for a piece of the pie. You ok with them flipping the switch next year and flushing hundreds (thousan...

New kickstarter from the "Mote team"
It seems strange not advertising when you're launching a new Kickstarter project, but it looks like it's what Idle Ideas did  And not so surprising, the project seems not to be doing this fine by now  So here's just a few words to let people be aware it's there… Sandstorm Virtual Tabletop ...

No. For forum moderators. Once the rights have been established, he (the admin) can delegate the daily management to the moderators. I think Wolph has already been granted this role and others could take this on.Jagged wrote:Sounds like a lot of work for a forum admin

Re: It's stupid that I can't post in the 1.4 forum
My two cents: that's not this silly to have a dev only subforum, and good to let others sneak a look, but may be the dev could think of sharing some of their thoughts in a less select place where others could answer
No need to change forum rights this way.

Re: Total Newbies to EVERYTHING, Help!
So my girlfriend and I want to get into tabletop RPGs . […] so I'm wondering if there is anyone who is well experienced in this program to help two newcomers a major amount of much needed aid. We know next to nothing on tabletop RPGs , […] We need someone to show us how to set up MapTool for Pathfi...

I agree with Full Bleed.
The infamous chinese proverb: A falling tree makes more noise than one thousand growing ones.
You'll always ear more of the few users that have an unexpected problem than the ones who benefit and are happy getting the functionality.

Take a look at Wiki: strformat() if you didn't already did. I think it should be what you're looking for.

@RPTroll: sorry but it seems I have a tough time expressing myself these days  I should also have pointed out I was taking advantage of your sentence to make a general statement and in no way were I answering you specifically. Re: [MapTool] JSON Tutorials
The reason is your "race" variable is defined in the input instruction as the receiving variable, meaning it's just a string, as implied by the VALUE=STRING. Thus you're trying to do a json.get on a string variable, not a JSON one. Maybe something along: Str: [r: json.get(eval(race), "...
