Re: DN's D&D4e Character Sheet Framework

Ooof, I may not be able to answer that... From a quick look at just the macro code, the problem is going to be in the copy & give entry macro or the pagecount macro which calculates how many pages the ritual should take up. Missing the level of the ritual might get it to toss that error, or if i...

Re: DN's D&D4e Character Sheet Framework

Could someone explain how the various index properties work? For example, there is a ConditionPowerList property on Lib:Information. It's has a JSON Array: ["Blinded","Dazed","Deafened","Dominated","Flying","Grabbed","Helpless",&...

Re: DN's D&D4e Character Sheet Framework

DeviantNull, This is very impressive. However, I don't play 4e. So I'm looking to modify it. Of your various versions which version do you think would be easiest to change? Any general guidance would also be greatly appreciated. BTW, I play Fantasy Craft. Thanks. Depends what all you're wanting to ...

Re: DN's D&D4e Character Sheet Framework

Haha, yeah, I get that. I'm just one of those people who want everything just so. I know you said you're not really into the coding bit, but I did manage to generate new fields in the PowerEntry macro, now I just want it to show up in PowerInfo. If any coders out there know what I need to copy/past...

Re: DN's D&D4e Character Sheet Framework

This is probably a stupid question. But I'm recreating my players tokens in the new framework (were coming back to our campaign after a 6 month hiatus). When I test the power it keeps saying (Rolls behind the GM Screen). What does this mean? Will the other players not see the rolls? There should be...

Re: DN's D&D4e Character Sheet Framework

You are of course right, I forgot about the power index lists. Still, if you have a lot of powers you would have to pull out a lot of hidden properties to find the correct power. In this case I think my method is easier, as you can simply search the xml file for the info you already entered and you...

Re: DN's D&D4e Character Sheet Framework

Well, the problem is, that the powers are stored in "hidden" properties with a random index. So its hard to change it when you have entered something wrong. But you can use a trick. Right click and save the token. The result is an .rptok file. Open that file with 7zip or something similar...

Re: DN's D&D4e Character Sheet Framework

If I'm missing TFM, feel free to tell me to go read it, because I must have overlooked it, I won't be offended. (Or just tell me it's an idiotic idea that wouldn't work, I'd be okay with that, too.) Crap, I've been meaning to reply to this for like 2 days now, sorry. There isn't really a manual asi...

Re: DN's D&D4e Character Sheet Framework

I suspect the answer is probably not, but.... Is there a straightforward way to attach a macro to one token that calls on properties of another token? For example, can I attach the attack power of a summons to the summoned creature and have it refer back to my statistics to keep the calculating up ...

Re: DN's D&D4e Character Sheet Framework

I seem to have done something wrong to a power (I was experimenting with using variables like =(INT)) and now I can't edit it. When I click on it on the sheet I get a null pointer exception. Is there a way I can strip out that power or just clear the "Effect" section of it so it becomes u...

Re: DN's D&D4e Character Sheet Framework

@DN : is the download in the first post still up to date ? (bug/code wise) Should be unless someone else has snuck in and written stuff. Looks like the only things I need to address are the things PinkRose posted about a few posts back. Though I'm really surprised about the stack thing, that's... n...

Re: DN's D&D4e Character Sheet Framework

I set an NPC token to "private health default" and "private rolls default." I test this offline, and it works. I host a server, and it stops working. No longer defaults to private; I now have to check the boxes. Huh? Do you have a different user name online & offline? The sh...

Re: DN's D&D4e Character Sheet Framework

I have a few questions : 1- How do you get the framework to run as smoothly as possible? Sadly, I think this is just a limitation of doing what maptools wasn't really designed to do. I've kludged together macros and HTML and then bolted it on. It's... inelegant. That said, how much stuff the window...

Re: DN's D&D4e Character Sheet Framework

Does anyone know a way to set up linked powers? I have tried a couple of things and am not having any luck setting up a power that is called by multiple powers (such as quarry or sneak attack damage). At the moment, it does not seem to display or execute anything having to do with the tracking powe...
