Re: [GURPS] Wrathchild / Winter's FW v2 (BETA)

I'm coming back to maptool with the hope of running gurps. would love to see more work go into this a bit.

Gonna try and learn a bit myself as well....dunno how that will work out in the end though lol. I have a little bit of PHP and C#....that's about it.

[1.3b89 FINAL] Chat channel's and msging (table, map, etc)

Currently, Maptools has one chat box, with some commands that allow you to send a private message to one user at a time. There are some User Mods/creations that make the whisper job easier, but it's still either everyone or only one. I have some idea's that would expand the chat functionality and op...

Re: Returning to VT's and had a question about chat

Yeah, I found my link from a few years ago when I apparently asked something similar. The dev's said it wouldn't be in 1.3, but possibly something for 1.4 if they figure out how they want to do it.

Gonna head over to "Feature Request" and throw some ideas out :3

Returning to VT's and had a question about chat

Hello! Glad to be back :D Was wondering if it was possible within Maptool to have "map only" chat's. If not, has anyone had to do this and have their own work around?? Or does anyone have a suggestion on a work around? The only VT I have experience with that does Map only chat is Klooge.we...

Re: nWoD Character Sheet Framework

Fyi...it wasn't me that did it. Not my framework. I just didn't remember seeing anything about npc's.

Would be cool to have though.

Which tokens are you talking about??

If your referring to the one's that are already within the campaign files, then all you have to do is save the individual tokens to a file.

MapTool Chat behavior question...

I am wondering if maptool uses seperate chat's for seperate maps, or are all the chat's taking place in the session linked to one chat window? Example: Group A is sneaking around trying to break open a box in Room A, while (on another map) Group B is trying to distract some guards from heading down ...

Re: nWoD Character Sheet Framework

I was wondering a couple of things about this framework.... 1) where is the character sheet laid out? I would like to exchange out the Equipment with a macro using Plo's Inventory. If not this isn't a biggie as I can have the campaign macro in the bottom. 2) This is big....But how hard would it be t...

Hosting a text-based RPG and would like to get more players

As the title says, I started hosting a text based RPG a few weeks ago and me and a few friends have been playing and it's alot of fun and tougne-in-cheek style humor. It's Legend of the Green Dragon. Based off an old BBS game Legend of the Red dragon. I know I'm not big in the community here or not,...

Re: nWoD Character Sheet Framework

Im not sure where to do tables at....haven't had to do anything with that yet. And I did figure out just copying the lib:Test and renaming it to Lib:WoD and it seemed to get everything to work pretty good. Although (for example) the health campaign macro's don't talk to your character sheet macro's ...

Re: Plo's Inventory Manager

I have a quick question....new to the whole map tools thing. You talk about adding the property Strength to a token, well what if the token already has a prop on it called Strength meaning the attribute?? Does it clash or what?? I like the idea of this system and look forward to intergrating it with...

Re: nWoD Character Sheet Framework

Cool....I love the updates you guys have done. But, some of the macro's need a lib:WoD but you have lib:Test. I change it to lib:WoD and stuff works but other stuff looking for lib:Test don't anymore. Just don't know if ya realize this or intentional cause your updating And for adding another supern...

Re: Problem with Fog of War

Im sorry but I'm kinda confused and to clarify for me and maybe anyone else wanting to help....are you talking about vision blocking or the fog of war? In the time I have had MT, I have yet to have an issue with vision blocking. However the fog of war I have had that happen. What I did was cover the...
