Re: Reducing Stack Size

I've already checked, and removing all of the macro options doesn't seem to affect the stack size requirement. I'm considering separating the macros & preferences tabs to their own macro, anyway, just to keep things a little cleaner (even though that means more random macros on the Warriors... t...

Re: Reducing Stack Size

Interesting note: Kinks (who made this macro) opened the Framework in 1.3, and says it only requires a stack size of 8 to run this macro in 1.3, but it definitely requires at least 12 for me in 1.4. The macro is currently being called on a token to run from the Campaign window. (I'd guess this doesn...

Re: Warhammer Quest Framework (1.5)

1.6 is a BIG update! Kinks did a lot of the work on this one (I've noted things he worked on in the notes below), especially automation work. Major changes: *There is now heavy automation: The board tiles will place themselves; attacks are fully automated (incorporating various weapons, abilities, a...

Re: need help for HP macro

Le macro n'utilise ni "token name" ni "token gm name". Comment voulez-vous qu'il functionne?

Reducing Stack Size

So, after a few years of Kinks working on my WQ framework, I'm back at it! He's done a lot of work, and I'm trying to clean up his code a little to make things run a bit smoother. On my priority list is trying to get the stack size requirement back down. When I left the Framework in his hands we req...

Hand Management

So, I'm looking to start a new project that involves cards. My previous Warhammer Quest framework also involved cards, and so I have some experience with simulating a deck, but I've never had to deal with hand management, and I'm unsure what the best approach would be. If my goal is to present playe...

Yeah. I think a lot of us would prefer that, but it's unlikely to happen.

Re: Mote Kickstarter: We are going LIVE!

The reason I don't join the MT dev team is because MT is dead technology. It is not the future of VTT. Trying to keep it on life support is not the way to go. It needs a complete rebuild, from the ground up, as a no-download-needed solution for players (web interface). It needs SQL (or noSQL) datab...

Re: selectTokens() requires trusted macro?

Oh, interesting. I actually use the player ability to select other tokens as a targeting mechanic. Either way, the wiki should presumably be updated?

Re: selectTokens() requires trusted macro?

Moving this function to a macro on a Lib:Token resolves issues with it, too, further reinforcing the idea that it requires a trusted macro.

(Why would it require a trusted macro, though? Players can select other tokens at will.)

selectTokens() requires trusted macro?

I'm trying to do another macro call, and it's giving me an error when it hits "selectTokens()", but ONLY when run by a non-GM.

Does selectTokens() require a trusted macro? The wiki doesn't say it does.

Re: Remote Calling Lib Token macros

So, I've got a macro that copies some Tokens, and then I'm trying to get it to run this macro automatically to number the tokens immediately upon creation. I'm noticing that when I stick in code to run this at the end of the former macro, it doesn't work. However, if I stick an input in the macro be...

Re: Warhammer Quest Framework (1.5)

So, after a flurry of work we did last Winter, things have slowed down a bit. I'm currently trying to pick it back up and fix the bugs before posting another release—the framework in its current state is extremely buggy (maybe to the point where I'd call it "broken"). Hopefully I'll be abl...
