Can you keep players from editing Token Properties?

I'm making a basic framework for my campaign, which pulls from token properties. Is there a way to keep players from editing the token properties of their own tokens? I trust my players current players, but occasionally I bring in new people and you just never know. Anything I can do?

Looking for 1.4.3.19

I just tried to download a 5e Framework and it said it needed version 1.4.3.19, but the best I can find is 1.4.1.8, and the forums don't allow searches on numbers for some reason. Any help here would be hot.

Re: Request: Bring back RPTools Gallery

Yeah, I've gotta admit, it feels pretty bleak out there right now as far as free support goes for our hobby. The MapTool gallery has been down for a few years now, RPGMapShare is a wrecked mess that as near as I can tell doesn't get updated or contributed to anymore, and the Dundjinni forums are so ...

Re: MapTool DEV Build 1.4.1.6

I can post the framework later (it's a large file and I don't have time to shrink it down right now), though it's a modified version of the framework AliasMask built for my Stalker/Firefly campaign, and from the sound of things he's having similar issues with his, so he might have a better understan...

Re: MapTool DEV Build 1.4.1.6

I'm not sure about it going back to b91. I've been using b91 for years and have never had any of the problems I listed. What about the idea that it's actually Java that's the culprit, and not MapTool? Also, here's another one for you. I've got a fairly simple macro I use to remove ammunition from a ...

Re: MapTool DEV Build 1.4.1.6

The more I mess around with stuff, the more everything seems to be related to right-click dragging the map while doing other stuff at the same time. Well, not the chat issues I was having, but both the ruler/object dragging and the complete loss of stability with objects themselves. I invite all of ...

Re: MapTool DEV Build 1.4.1.6

1.4.1.7 is the first version of 1.4 I've used. Before that I've been using 1.3.b91 for I don't even know how long. As long as it's been out, I imagine. I have none of these problems in b91. If you're having the ruler issue even in b91 then I don't even know how that could be. The only thing I can th...

Re: MapTool DEV Build 1.4.1.6

On #2, are you sure it's MapTool and not your computer or keyboard? Can you pull up the Start menu and type into the search box, or in anything else outside of MapTool? From what you describe, it wouldn't surprise me if you had a keyboard going bad. I'm 100% certain it's not my computer. Nothing el...

Re: MapTool DEV Build 1.4.1.6

I've been using version 1.4.1.7, and I'm running into three bugs pretty regularly. The first one is merely annoying, the second and third are nearly gamebreaking. The first bug is that when using the ruler tool, or when moving tokens, you used to be able to right click on the map to pan around witho...

Re: Player joining game sees black when downloading large ma

The player claims he's using it, although he is using an old, pretty crappy computer. I'm not sure why a crappy computer would render a 2 MB image pure black, but it affects him more than anyone. Also, if I'm not using a repository, and 5 people join a new map simultaneously could there be issues wi...

Player joining game sees black when downloading large maps

I tend to use large image files to make my maps. I try to keep the individual images as low as possible, but occasionally I'll use one that is 2-5 MB. When I do this, sometimes when entering the room, one or two of my players will report the image showing as pure black for them. When this happens, i...

Nevermind, I figured it out. You meant SELECT="+ArmorBar+"

Re: Can you make an input where SELECT= a variable?

That didn't seem to work. Also, I'm not sure why it would, a single quotation mark seems like it would interfere with the rest of them.

Can you make an input where SELECT= a variable?

I'm looking to create a fairly simple input macro: [h:status=input( "ArmorBar|None, Leather Clothing, Leather Armor, Gambeson, Chainmail, Hide Armor, Scale Armor, Brigandine, Plate Armor, Social Police Armor|Armor Type|LIST|SELECT=0 VALUE=ArmorBar" )] [h:abort(status)] [H: setBar("Arm...

Make the output of a macro format to omit token name

I'm trying to create a series of simple macros that have weapon information on them. One macro per weapon, and then I'd store the appropriate macros on the correct tokens, so if you own a bow, you'd get the bow macro, and if you owned a greatsword, you'd get that macro too. Pushing the button will s...
