Re: [1.3b49] Campaign File not loading
Try posting an offending Macro or two here. The macro gods may have a quick remedy. It may be just one macro function. Or it may be the smiley bug. Try playing with turning on/off tool tips and smiley's in Preferences. The macros were the ones I posted in the forums. http://forums.rptools.net/viewt...

[1.3b49] Campaign File not loading
I am assuming the campaign file is not loading because none of the tokens appear. When I download the newest version of MapTools the campaign loads fine and the tokens are their. The problem is the macros are so old that some of them seem to return errors in the new version. I was looking to get bac...

Re: Fully Managed 4e Token
Some of the documentation got lost on the main site in the move and haven't been able to find it again. Including the list of dice rolls. Are you thinking of this page ? I generally need to visit the Sitemap page and then click on the Documentation link because I forget where it is all the time, to...

Re: Fully Managed 4e Token
I've been away for quite a while now and when checking in it seems there has been some change in the way Maptools handles to tokens. As a result when trying to load my tokens into 1.3b67 or later it gives an unexpected error message. Luckily I was able to figure out a quick fix for the tokens. I tes...

Re: [1.3.b67] Unexpected error when dragging token onto map
I seem to have found a fix. Though I'm not quite sure why it works. Though my guess is something to do with the gradual change in how token data is stored/handled. ;) Even though I was away I like to stop in from time to time and dnld the newest version of MT. Well the last version I had before this...

Re: [1.3.b67] Unexpected error when dragging token onto map
:P Well the tokens in question where my 4e Framework tokens. But it seems that a lot of people have done a lot more fancy stuff with 4e frameworks while I was away. Besides the universal inventory token was original planned as to be my first step in a new framework design. I wanted to make if more m...

[1.3.b67] Unexpected error when dragging token onto map
Hi I've been away for a while and downloaded the newest version of MT. I wanted to check if my tokens still worked after all the version updates since most were written back in mid 40s versions as I recall. Anyhow more to the point when I try and drag and drop nearly all of them onto the map I get t...

Re: [D&D 4E] Rumble's D&D Combat Framework
I do appreciate the comments/suggestions, though. I've been thinking about the redundant/processor-intensive looping stuff for about 3 weeks now, as well as the over-reliance on pulling properties out. Combining that with fewer string comparisons may be the key. Well I've been away for a while and ...

Re: [D&D 4E] Rumble's D&D Combat Framework
1. Pulling Powers off the token - that's okay, if that was the only thing I did. 2. But then, I store a power in a property. 3. Then, I pull it back out. 4. Then, I store targeting in another property. 5. Then, I pull it back out. 6. Then, I store states in another property. 7. Then, I pull it back...

Re: [D&D 4E] Rumble's D&D Combat Framework
Quick request: using 4.12, how do I make a macro that allows me to roll init on selected tokens with a dialogue box to allow for an adjustment? I have a warlord in my party, and while I have calculated into all the PCs the added bonus to initiative, there are times where he not close enough to his ...

Re: [D&D 4E] Rumble's D&D Combat Framework
1. Power storage. Right now, powers are in one giant JSON object. This takes tons of time to retrieve and parse, and the higher level you get, the worse it gets. Changing that fundamentally alters the framework, though it can be done. The easiest method that can happen "behind the scenes"...

Re: Universal Inventory System (API)
Excellent Tool Pyro. I created a cleanup macro. If you have a item type and change your mind later and want to get rid of that type, it leaves residual data in the Items area. Yea I knew it would do that ;). I threw it together when I finally had some spare time though I had been thinking about it ...

Re: Universal Inventory System (API)
Must I perform the initail setup for each and every token I want to have an inventory? Well yes and no. Once the inventory system is setup it is really only setup on that token. But you don't have to go through all the setup steps again on each token. You can either copy the token or open the token...

Re: Getting a Character sheets in to MapTool?
Are there any way to store variables for later use etc. Yea. Something like the following. [HP = HP - Damage] When ever you set a variable's value one of two things happen depending on if the variable is on the token or not. If the variable is on the token then it sets the token variable value to t...
