I add the direction of thrust to the rotation to simulate different engine mount's on a ship. Nope, looks good. Of course, I'm not sure about your reduction in inertia, since it doesn't drop in space as there's no friction. OK forgive me if this is a bit fragmented I barely understand what I'm doing so plz try and bear with me. Are you talking about representing a tokens elevation on the map? If So just make some custom States with a lil diagonal line who's length is proportionate to there elevation
