Re: Rumble's 4E Framework, Version 5 - Discussion
It might be possible to setup this as a no damage under the attack and see if it still registers the inherent bonus. That worked. Understandably but perhaps unintuitively, the framework treats '0 damage' and 'No damage' as different. By clicking on that '0 damage' text and checking the box to make ...

Re: Rumble's 4E Framework, Version 5 - Discussion
Looking for some input into a problem. I have set up Divine Challenge as an attack power for my paladin PC as follows: Divine challenge.jpg For some reason that I cannot fathom, it is inflicting 1 point of damage on the target when it is used. Anyone know why? EDIT: On further thought, it might be c...

Re: [Rumble 5.1.3]: Custom Mods
The text in your post is wrong - it's 'Auras', not 'Bursts'. And 'Burst1' is 'Burst1Cassi' for some reason. Thanks. I've edited the relevant post. However, I've run into a strange issue where the aura mod doesn't work on attack powers, only Personal powers and such. Any reason why that would be? I'...

Re: [Rumble 5.1 FW] Consumables and items
Deadolus, that's an excellent way of doing the Health Potion! I never would have considered that method (Surge healing, with bonus of 10-SurgeValue).
I'm yoinking that.

Re: Rumble's 4E Framework, Version 5 - Discussion
Generally the latter. Until the players are connected to the server, they won't show up as options for ownership. Once the campaign is saved, the setting will stick.hyro wrote:Can I put on Token ownership before I start the server or do I start the server, set the ownership and save it?

Re: Rumble's 4E Framework, Version 5 - Discussion
Is it just the tokens that disappeared, or the whole map? Try this. Go back to DM mode. Select a PC token by left-clicking on it. Then activate player mode. Can you see? If that doesn't work, the problem is almost certainly to do with one of a couple of things: 1. Token ownership. If you don't have ...

Re: Rumble's 4E Framework, Version 5 - Discussion
Yep, the only problem I've ever really come across with the framework is that it is very intensive, and can therefore be slow. With my group, most single-target attacks take about 5-8 seconds to resolve and update on everyone's machine and multi-target attacks can take up to 30 seconds. The problem ...

Re: Rumble's 4E Framework, Version 5 - Discussion
Which is exactly what I was trying to say. Amazing how much easier that is to follow with a picture ;) Hyro, this is probably where your problem lies. If you don't select a target(s) then the framework doesn't have a defence to roll against or a hp total to adjust. Try Rumble's suggestion and see if...

Re: Rumble's 4E Framework, Version 5 - Discussion
After a straight import from pdf power card or compendium i would never get the oppertunity to choose who i was attacking from the macro dialog that pops up after pressing the button Most strange. What is supposed to happen is that you push the macro button (eg. Tide of Iron) and a new window opens...

Re: Rumble's 4E Framework, Version 5 - Discussion
With the character power import it seems to only paste in the chat field a summary of what the action is without rolls. As Rumble says, you'll need to provide more info. Specifically, how and what are you importing? If you're importing from a pdf character sheet, is it from the old (offline) builde...

Re: Rumble's 4E Framework, Version 5 - Discussion
Note that you can also set the bars to have visibility only to owners or the GM also. I set health bars as visible to all. It lets the players know how wounded each other are, and also gives them some idea of how badly wounded the bad guys are. The latter theoretically bothers me, but practically i...

Re: [Rumble 5.1.3]: Custom Mods
Very interesting. My coder player had commented that slow performance was in part due to how much information each token was carrying, and could be improved by moving that information off-token. The change required to fix that is pretty core to the whole framework though, and I imagine it's a signif...
