Re: MapTool 1.4.0.0 Build
Do you plan to post on the main page about the new release? I don't lurk the forums that often and read on a third party site about the new version. This is too good news to be hidden

Re: Fate Core/Accelerated
This is really awesome! My girlfriend asked me to create a Fate Core framework and now I found this and it is just so great. You did a really good job, making useful macros for creating tokens as a gamemaster. And this map aspects window is so clever. Thank you very much for this. Do you plan to add...

Re: [german] Video-tutorials for players (beginner level)
Ah, great. I planned to do some German video tutorials, too, but now I can just link everybody to your work ;) I would like to link it on the forums of http://drachenzwinge.de. Would you like me to link them to this post or can I link the videos directly? Also, is there are reason that the second vi...

Re: Self created tokens can't be set as Player Characters
Wonderful! An easy solution I tried it with some tokens and they work just as they should.
So the format has to be 22 random digits followed by two equality signs?
Thank you very much.

Self created tokens can't be set as Player Characters
We have written a Java program that creates Maptool tokens with specific properties. It writes the content.xml and properties.xml and zips them together with the necessary assets. This token can be imported in Maptool and used in the designated framework without problems. But if the token is set to ...

Re: Problem with encode(), forms and umlauten
In THEORY, you could try adding: -Dfile.encoding="UTF-8" to the batch file prior to the memory/stack arguments. This may or may not work... I have seen various arguments on the interwebs that both say it certainly works and other saying "don't do that darnit".... I have not look...

Re: Problem with encode(), forms and umlauten
For the umlaute, could you just follow up the normal character with an "e" to get around it? (ä becomes "ae" etc.) phonetically, they should be similar at least. That will be my workaround. People can understand it but it just does not look nice. Since it works just fine with Li...

Re: Problem with encode(), forms and umlauten
After half a year I have come back to programming macros for MapTool. My problems with the umlaute still exists. How can I tell mapTool 1.3.b86 in windows that it should use UTF-8?
(I'm using java 1.6.0_30-b12 now.)

Re: Problem with encode(), forms and umlauten
Which version of MapTool are you using, and which version of Java on each of your platforms? Ubuntu is running java 1.6.0_24 and Windows is running version 1.6.0_26. I've used MapTool 1.3.b80 for developing but tried 1.3.b86 now, after you suggested the MapTool version could be the problem, but unf...

Take a look at the changelog.
It's hidden in the wiki, I always have to search for it, if I've not used it for a while

Problem with encode(), forms and umlauten
I don't understand what is happening and hope, that I can present my problem good enough for you to understand what is happening :D The macro: The user is presented in a dialog with the content of a string list. Every entry is paired up with a checkbox and the user chooses which entry he wants to se...

Re: RPedit - Macro Importer/Exporter and Editor [1/19/11]
I'm not sure I understand the request. Do you want to execute the macro as if you clicked the button in the Select Frame from the Edit Buttons frame? Or do you want to run a custom macro whenever you save? I don't see the use in that. Perhaps you can explain why you would want that. I want to run a...

Re: RPedit - Macro Importer/Exporter and Editor [1/19/11]
Sorry, not possible in MT 1.3. That's why I use Notepad++. I can quickly copy/paste in to text area without losing my place. I usually use Edit Mode in RPedit when I making small minor changes to a single macro. If you haven't already, and you have a windows machine, check out my signature for Note...
