Re: [GURPS] Wrathchild / Winter's FW v2 (BETA)
Tokens can be uploaded to the rptools gallery, we could uses that for sharing th ones we made for different purposes. I'm in the process of adapting beneath Castle everglory to Maptool and have entered some creatures of that module into maptool and just uploaded the tokenfiles to my gallery http://g...

Re: Setting up MT for GURPS
Yes something like this, i doubt anyone regularly swaps countless items, but switching from ranged to melee weapons is something done regularly.A button that would swap from sword-and-shield to rapier-and-dagger, perhaps? (Or, perhaps, twin laser arrays and heat- and radar-seeking missile pods?)

Re: Setting up MT for GURPS
How would you all feel if I were to consolidate the Inventory tab into the Main tab? It seems that those are the two most used tabs, and it might cut down on the number of clicks required to take a turn if the inventory appeared on the Main tab. Wouldnt that kind of overload the tab? But some kind ...

Is there a timer feature?
Hi,
as the topic says, does MapTool have some way of setting a timer, that notifies after x minutes?

Re: Setting up MT for GURPS
To bad, that would be about as much extra functionality as I would have wanted, just adding up the numbers seems like i have to keep this to myself then.

Re: Setting up MT for GURPS
Looks good so far, just played with ist for about 30min., but is outputting the Margin of Success/Failure not within the terms of the online policy? I added it for normal skill rolls, and could post the code here.

Re: Setting up MT for GURPS
The bug on Ubuntu was due to using the OpenJDK virtual machine. Using Sun's Java VM solved the problem. I suppose the moral of the story is that I should add something to the general instructions about using Sun's VM. Actually i had several Issues with Maptools alone using anythig but the Sun VM, s...

Re: Setting up MT for GURPS
I haven't had any problems so far on Ubuntu, could you give some more details? I could try to recreate the errors, but it may be something about the JDK, I had several issues with the alternatives system not working completly under Ubuntu, I usually try to uninstall all non Sun Java packages if poss...

Re: Setting up MT for GURPS
For afflictions, until I release a framework with a "conditions" system, I recommend you remove them from GCA before exporting to MapTool, and simply play them out as you always have. Sorry - I'm working on some sort of fix, but it isn't ready for public consumption yet. I actually didn't...

Re: Setting up MT for GURPS
Yeah and WotC abandoned the OGL and is now charging a monthly fee for access to their online content, and they are probably selling more then Paizo and SJG combined. All these companys have different business models and individually each one seems to work out quite fine but i highly doubt interchang...

Re: Setting up MT for GURPS
I would prefer not to have to enter all the data, but if that makes the whole thing possible at all, its a load of work a group could share. But i suspect the problem on the SJG side aren't the tables, but the automation in itself, as they have no problem with all the datafiles for either GCA or GCS...

Re: Setting up MT for GURPS
You are paying for a piece of software, that does all the dice rolling and looking up tables results for you and also takes care of most of the bookkeeping issues during the game. So it automates a lot of work, that can get rather cumbersome when you have to edit electronic information instead of sc...

Re: Setting up MT for GURPS
As far as I know, if you don't let players edit macros, the players wouldn't be able to access the macro code without the ability to read the contents of RAM or of the network stream directly. Thats good, i thought any attending player would automatically get a copy of the current campaignfile and ...
