Re: Looking for NPC/Monster Generators 3.5/Pathfinder
The plus in magic weapons is part of the name when created in PCGen, Neofax is correct in saying that by loading the source "PCGen Enhancement Re-namer" the plus will be put at the front of the name. As for the Armor I know the AC is output but can you tell me what format the Pathfinder st...

Re: Looking for NPC/Monster Generators 3.5/Pathfinder
Heck, using PCGen you can create some fast, customized monsters and stat blocks. Being able to cut'n'paste that info into something to create a quick token would be slick. I just recently found the PF Statblock importer myself and have created a PCGen output sheet in the format it uses so you can d...

Re: PF statblock importer
Hi All, I've been looking for ways to get PCGen data into MapTool. I've made output sheets that will export to InitiativeTool but was disappointed to find that although you can export a token from InitiativeTool it does not seem to transfer any of the InitiativeTool properties into MapTool token pro...

Re: PCGen and Initiative tool
Hi folks To update everybody on this, the tracker has been completed and there are now new outputsheets which work with InitiativeTool 1.1.b8 and will be available in the next PCGen alpha release. In the mean time I've put these files up in my gallery for all who want to use them, they should work f...

Re: Is InitTool dead?
Success! I've completed an export sheet for PCGen that works for InitiativeTool 1.1.b8 in d20 3.5 mode. I've uploaded the sheet to my gallery for anyone interested in trying it out. It's in the same section as the original sheets I made (has it really been 3 years?) so make sure you get the new one....

Re: Is InitTool dead?
Did PCGen ever transition to XML data files? I signed up on the Y! group (was it d20xmlsrd?) that was discussing how to do it and I believe PCGen was the focus of that effort... Last I looked I still saw mention of LST files though. No, that project never made it off the ground, every thing is stil...

Re: Is InitTool dead?
Progress! I have been working with InitiativeTool 1.1.b8 which runs the d20 3.5 game settings without error and have made some head way. I really like how the program has evolved, the different views for PC and NPC are nice and detailed and the one click dice rolling on some of the stats is really n...

Re: Is InitTool dead?
Hi Azhrei,
That sounds like a workable plan to me. Creating the sheets are easy enough, all I need is the proper xml properties to write to.

Re: Is InitTool dead?
Hi Jay, Great to know InitTool is still alive! :D I downloaded the previous versions of InitTool and CharacterTool where the d20 3.5 setting is working which will bring me up to speed on what the newer versions can do. One possible way to mitigate the lack of standard properties is for PCGen to dist...

Re: Is InitTool dead?
Unfortunately I'm seeing some of the same issues with CharacterTool, neither it nor InitTool seems to work for d20 3.5.

Re: Is InitTool dead?
I would totally love to see that as well, but I don't think it's easily done with the current versions of the programs. PCGen can output a text file, so we can create an xml file or other text file but what it can't do is output a the kind of multi-file zip package that RPTools are using these days....

Re: Is InitTool dead?
Excellent! I welcome any help offered. I understand PCGen pretty well but as far as the tools go I'm just a user.

Is InitTool dead?
It's been a long time since I've visited the boards here. Back when I was active I created an export sheet for PCGen that saved PCGen characters in InitTool group files (.rpgrp) for InitTool version 1.0.b23. This worked great and I was also able to create a custom game setting with additional proper...

Re: MAC OS X startup issues
How does one do that? I've got a gallery I can post to, is that what you're referring to?You can upload your apps to the wiki or post them to a new thread here (and I'll move them into the HOWTO forum).

Re: MAC OS X startup issues
Hi guys, Wouldn't the ideal solution here be to provide a Mac .app as a separate download? If the problem is a lack of someone who can make those I can certainly do it. I make the Mac build for PCGen and I've made Mac .apps of the Tools for my own use. It takes little time and I'd have no problem ke...
