I would pretty much never use this feature, unless it had quick sets and a few defaults/samples in a basic install. Like many of the other Maptool features, you would still be able to use Maptool just like you do now without ever having to go into this configuration screen ever. I am sure we would ...

I would pretty much never use this feature, unless it had quick sets and a few defaults/samples in a basic install. So if you had a moonlight quick set which adjusted all the global settings just from that one preset, I would use it regularly. But I would VERY rarely create a new quick set, and neve...

in the video, when the user switches light sources, I don't see a menu item for vision type. That confuses me. I'm obviously missing something.

I hate to bring this up, but I think it needs to be asked. If you take a screen shot of 3d models in a video game and distribute them for another purpose is that a copyright violation? Or does it fall under Fair Use since you aren't making money or competing with its original purpose?

Must Have For First Pass 1. Light is light. 2. Vision interprets light. 3. Light can be placed on objects (stamps) and people (tokens). 4. There are different models of light: Circular and Conic. 7. There can be multiple lights on one object. 11. Walls block light. 12. Unlimited vision is a must. I...

The key I am getting at is that we should have the ability to create a vision. We name it whatever and assign rules to it on how it radiates. I'm guessing you meant light rather than vision here :) dLANbandit: ou should never have admitted to that. When the light/vision flamewar gets started in ear...

@ Dorpond: I noticed you have Individual Views as part of your idea of how Light works. Note: I am the only person who has voted for Individual Views on the Wall of Features. I guess you are going to vote for that next week? Individual Views is already in place friend with 1.3B17 ;) Welcome to the ...

If you turn VBL shapes into actual objects (attach to stamps) then you could just assign a property to the VBL of how it interacts with a light/vision type. Total block/ partial block/ no block. ps. I submitted $5 yesterday when I didn't have any burning desire for the then current #1, and saw that ...

how does the donation calculation work?

I donated this morning, but don't see the value changing. Is it done manually or is the automation just on a timer?

Wow. I find myself wondering sometimes why X or Y hasn't been done yet. Because, I think of the items that I want most are about 1-8 items tops. But, now I see it painfully clearly. There are tons of really great things to work on and a ton of people with different opinions on what they think is mos...

I want to have a Tank token, that has more than one weapon each with its own viewing angle either attached to the body of the tank or attached to the turret on the tank. Vehicle/platform designation for a stamps or tokens which cause proper movement by items o...
