The tricky thing is that there isn't any VBL at all on Orien Train! So I can't explain why the map is having problems.
I guess I have to take some time to edit Stormswell to update the VBL.

Re: Terrible, nightmare-level bugs
I know the LoS is slowing things down a bit, but it shouldn't be chewing through tons of memory, especially when it comes time to save/autosave. Also, I'm not using individual FoW. Rather, anything one player can see all of them should be able to. Or if I'm not that could be what my problem is.

Re: MapTool Proprietary Game System
Working from the ground up with a computer in mind, I'd want rolls to be focused around arbitrary-sized dice. What's more, skills and traits can be designed to have better synergy with one another. As a rough example of this in action: Character has +2 in agility, +1 in strength, and +4 in fighting....

Re: [Savage Worlds] RPTroll's Campaign File Framework
Any updates on this? Right now my major concerns are: Bonuses are really weird. Setting a skill to d10+2 doesn't apply the +2 to the wild die. Characters with Nerves of Steel still suffer wound penalties. Initiative edges don't seem to be applying. I have to deal extra cards to some placeholders if ...

Re: Terrible, nightmare-level bugs
I tested Maptool using different versions of Java. Using the 6.something version timestamped 23rd May 2012, tried using 6.0.18. Same problems with both. Out of sheer curiosity I installed Java 7, but naturally it did not play nicely with line of sight enabled. The largest I seem to be able to get Ja...

Terrible, nightmare-level bugs
I have no idea what happened. Last week my campaign was going along all cheery. This week maptool starts spitting out out of memory errors! I have a pretty complex map using about 50 or so tiles from the 200x200 tile pack, so it's pretty memory intensive. But it was working fine with 1024 mb of memo...

Re: [Savage Worlds] RPTroll's Campaign File Framework
Ooops, ran into another snag. Eval(spellcasting) does not work for making my 3-bolt button.

Re: [Savage Worlds] RPTroll's Campaign File Framework
I tried that, if I do for example, "[strength] + [d6e]" then I get: "Strength=d6e + d6e->2 = d6e2" If I put two brackets around Strength (for example, once to get the value, second to parse it) I get an invalid expression.

Re: [Savage Worlds] RPTroll's Campaign File Framework
I can tell you that I see a lot of folks putting d4e-d12e buttons on their tokens. It's not much work and easy to do. I wonder if I should put that on the "add buttons" macro. It's handy! I'll also help out my players and add some damage macros for them to use, though I added my d4e-d12e ...

Re: [Savage Worlds] RPTroll's Campaign File Framework
The way I run my extras is I generally handle the stats in my head and just roll the appropriate dice. I don't bother statting them out onto tokens. Perhaps I should as I do plan on having some larger battles in the campaign... I did grab the dice box separately and drop it in, but I cannot say I'm ...

Re: [Savage Worlds] RPTroll's Campaign File Framework
So after having used your framework a bit I got some feedback. :) Firstly, it's not very clear how to add or remove skills. I'm using the Climbing + Swimming = Athletics houserule but I have not been successful in getting it to appear in the skill list. I did manage to to add more knowledge skils th...

Re: [Map] Sharn Orien Train
The grid doesn't seem to be a very uniform color. And even then I run into yet another problem with my lack of expertise in that I have no idea how to get the selection onto another layer. That aside, I still can't seem to find a good method of "grabbing" the smoke, I think my original met...

Re: [Map] Sharn Orien Train
Updated the train engine with the smoke to transparency effect. Unfortunately I had chopped off a lot of the lighter smoke before I started this trick, so I could have done better.

Re: [Map] Sharn Orien Train
Thanks for the tip. That looks a little better. Unfortunately I'm having a rough time selecting just the smoke. If I use the fuzzy select tool with too much allowance, it grabs the grid lines and bleed into the entire thing!
