Re: 4e interactive sheet & utilities

have you tried removing the armour from the equipped items, than modify/check it (Heavy choosen in the list and chain or plate or whatever beeing checked), saving it, then re-equiping it ? I can't seem to reproduce that--for me the dex bonus always applies to characters in heavy armour. I can also ...

I didn't saw this one. Did you choose "Heavy" when entering the gear ?
Yes, I did. The dex bonus still applies regardless.

Re: 4e interactive sheet & utilities

The framework is really slick. I love the power creation interface--it's very flexible.

I caught one small error--characters still get their Dex/Int bonus to AC when they have heavy armour equipped.

Thanks for all the work you put into this.

You could probably download the free trial if you did want to use the model viewer. That would give you the game's art files without the need for an active subscription.

Re: An Attempt to Return the Framework to its Classic Form

I got a chance to run a game with this and I was really impressed--my players enjoyed it as well. This might just become my new default framework. I only noticed a couple of minor issues, and these are all easy to work around (I know you're probably focusing more on supporting the "heavy" ...

Re: An Attempt to Return the Framework to its Classic Form

This is really nice! While I love all the automation in the main version of the framework, the speed and simplicity of this one is really appealing. I think I might give this one a spin and see which one my players like better.

Re: Rumble's D&D Framework, Version 5.0

The attack penalty condition actually doesn't work as expected in the b70 version, though. For example, applying an attack penalty condition with a value of '2' gives a +2 bonus to the attack. It's the same behaviour that the defense penalty condition was giving me. I tried replacing the procAttack ...

Re: Rumble's D&D Framework, Version 5.0

I should have thought to check this earlier, but attack penalties seem to be having the same issue as defense penalties initially did in the b70 version. Damage penalties, interestingly enough, work just fine.

Re: Rumble's D&D Framework, Version 5.0

Let me know if it works - I think I got the match correct. The campaign file download didn't seem to get the defense penalty change, but replacing the macro works like a charm. Note that since it only remembers the last change to defenses, it may not correct all the way back to the original number ...

Re: Rumble's D&D Framework, Version 5.0

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the fix to defense penalties didn't seem to make it to the latest version of the b70 framework. The same problem seems to also affect attack penalties. Don't hate me!

Other than that, the framework is all kinds of awesome. I love, love, love click to target!

Re: Rumble's D&D Framework, Version 5.0

Something else cool that I discovered about the click-to-target version of the framework--I don't get those pesky stack overflow errors from AoE attacks! I'm not sure what fixed that, but I won't question it!

Re: Rumble's D&D Framework, Version 5.0

The targeting system in the build 70 version of the framework is slick. I like it a lot. It really eliminates that "now which kobold am I attacking?" problem. I did notice a problem with setting defense penalties in the latest version (this is in both the build 66 and 70 versions of beta 2...

Re: Rumble's D&D Framework, Version 5.0

I got a chance to run a game using this last night and it went really well. It was the first time using Maptool for a few of my players, and I think the ease of use of this framework really helped things along. Thanks again, Rumble!
