Paizocon 2017 - anyone going

Hi, Just wondered if anyone from the maptools community was going to be at Paizocon in Seattle at the end of the month, as I'm going from the UK and it'd be nice to put some faces to names. I also noted there was a VTT discussion on the Monday of the Con, which I was planning to go to, and was wonde...

Re: Fonts unreadably small on high res monitors

Don't forget that you still have to manually create the registry entry, so adding it to the install file without the registry entry shouldn't have an effect.

Re: Fonts unreadably small on high res monitors

I have now managed to get it to work on my widnows surfacebook, running windows 10. After creating the registry entry - which i did for the adobe fix anyway. I then copied the manifest files (the ones from the adobe help page, and renaming them to java.exe.manifest and javaw.exe.manifest) and placin...

Re: Fonts unreadably small on high res monitors

I too have the same problem with maptool on my surfacebook. However I have managed to find a fix for the afore mentioned adobe problem:- http://www.danantonielli.com/adobe-app-scaling-on-high-dpi-displays-fix/ Although I'll be the first to admit I don't really understand how the fix works. I have tr...

Re: Wolph42's 'Drop-in' Bag of MT Tricks v.38 [ROOM DESCRIPT

Hi wolph, not sure how much you are following the mote updates or supporting mote but thought you would want to know that I found an issue with using the BoT and running a server, realted apparently to the startup map in your code - the full details can be found here:- https://groups.google.com/foru...

Hell's Rebels (Pathfinder) - using custom framework

Hi, I've been using maptools for a couple of years now, firstly in a Pathfinder Rise of the Runelords campaign and have recently started a new campaign for the Hell's Rebels adventure path. As part of the campaign I've setup an Obsidian Portal page and am tracking progress on there, it also has link...

Re: Wolph42's 'Drop-in' Bag of MT Tricks v.38 [ROOM DESCRIPT

It was pretty easy in the end I added a macro called ProceedOption to the Even Macro Library in the Event list macros group. The code was just an input box:- [h:status=input( "junkVar|Do you want to teleport to the new location?|-|LABEL" )] [h:abort(status)] Then I enabled it in the BoT se...

Re: Wolph42's 'Drop-in' Bag of MT Tricks v.38 [ROOM DESCRIPT

Wolph, I've had a search around but cant find anything - When using the teleport pads is there an easy way of asking of you want to invoke the teleport. For example I use the teleport pads for a trapdoor and change the image to a trapdoor. When a token lands on it I want to ask if they want to go th...

Re: Wolph42's 'Drop-in' Bag of MT Tricks v.38 [ROOM DESCRIPT

Hi Wolph,

Just to let you know that the new version of maptool (1.4.0.0) is coming up with the fact that its not compatible with the VBL functionality. I'm guessing its because there's an extra .0 on the end of the version :)

Thanks

Re: Creating a random list

I was only looking at the categories, as im not planning on entering all of the individual creatures infor, effectively I wanted to list the categories the player had discovered, the reason for wanting the full list was if the forst category e.g. resistances, was not something the creature had, then...

Creating a random list

Is there a way to create a random list in maptools, possibly using the table function. Effectivley I want to have a fixed list of descriptions and place them in a random order when I execute the macro. In game terms for pathfinder what I want to do is be able to randomly list the things a character ...

Re: Problem with Frames in Java 8

I have tried Aliasmasks code but to no avail - all I get is a macro execution error.
Removing the title from the html code has no effect, and changing the " to ' doenst work for the code either.

Thanks for the suggestions though

Re: Problem with Frames in Java 8

I've removed the reference to the stylesheets in the macro, as suggested by username and it now works - although the frame isn't as pretty now :). I have to be honest I'm not a java expert so the rest of the post was a bit alien to me :) Is this therefore a bug that needs to be raised for version B9...

Problem with Frames in Java 8

Hi, I'm in the process of upgrading my framework from B90 to B91 so it can use java8 and have run into a problem with the character sheet macro that I have written. It seems to be linked to the use of frames and most of the time when I run it I get the following error:- java.util.ConcurrentModificat...
