Re: MT1.3b87.02 Campaign Framework

With my usual quip out of the way, I think your interpretation is up for discussion. Are weapon magic enhancement bonuses a core part of the weapon? If they are a core part, then the current behavior is correct. The wording on Vital Strike is like most weapon based wording which assumes the + of a ...

Re: MT1.3b87.02 Campaign Framework

Since Jamz posted his campaign in the thead he linked I've been exploring the framework deeper and deeper, searching for differences between the stock version and his. There's one thing I noticed that I'd like to share with you guys. In short, my conclusion is that Vital Strike (and Improved and Gre...

Re: PF statblock importer

Thanks Jamz, there's so much goodness in that campaign! Too bad work and other matters are absorbing all my time; so far I've only been able to open the campaign and spend a few minutes thinking how much I needed all the features you implemented (i.e Dead -> Object and Dead -> Token just to name one...

If you'd be so kind to post your campaign I'd love to take a peek under the hood, thanks!

Re: PF statblock importer

Yes, I mean no, I mean yes... I mean... I'confused! For all that is digital I can't find how to do it. I use this fw so maybe something's different from yours because I just can't find how to have those trolls regenerate properly! I see two macros regarding initiative: one rolls for the selected tok...

Re: PF statblock importer

Hey Jamz! I see that your statblock importing macro and properties handle Fast Healing and Regeneration, among other things. Do you happen to have some macros to account for that during combat? Or those properties are just there for the GM to remind (which, bw is already a very handy addon)?

Cheers!

Re: MT1.3b87.02 Campaign Framework (LATEST VERSION)

First of all a very big thank you to lmarkus for this awesome framework: I've been using it for quite a while and aside for a few minor hiccups (all my fault) it has provided an extraordinary improvement to my games. Lately I've been trying to replace the included BagOfTricks with the latest one by ...

Re: Wolph42's 'Drop-in' Bag of MT Tricks v.20b [MESSAGE MACR

@AM The token was named "Knorr" without anything fancy in the name and it got teleported in some random locations really, nothing notable like 0,0. @Wolf upgrading from v13 doesn't scare me (I know the meaning of backup, dropbox and "readthemanual" ) however I'm not sure if v20 w...

Re: Wolph42's 'Drop-in' Bag of MT Tricks v.20b [MESSAGE MACR

I'm not even sure if this is the right place to post this... in case please feel free to behead me and my humble post. Here's the catch: I'm using lastest lmarkus PF framework that incudes a custom modified BoT 13.0f. I'm encountering this problem: when I move a token on a 1 way teleport pad (curren...

Re: MapTool Dev Build (testing, version 0.8) - Dec. 29, 2012

Thanks Lee, I really appreciate your work since me and my group have been plagued by the bugs you fix in this build. My tests (java6) have all been positive (so far) so I really hope that Azhrei and the others will validate your work and hopefully release a 89 soon. If this is not going to happen th...

Re: A few performance questions

 I meant would the information in the log file be helpful to the OP for his question? Yeah, I know I could go do the process of replacing my logging file in .maptool to see for myself, but I'm just so lazy about doing things like that This was enough of a hint for me to look in the misc folder...

Re: A few performance questions

Thank you both, your insight is very helpful, but let me clarify a few points... I know that lightning and fow are major performance devourers cpu-wise however I've profiled the guy's computer via VisualVM (yes, it was a dark and stormy night...) and cpu is not overstressed as I whould expect. What ...

Re: A few performance questions

What I can't really understand is how Maptool allocates memory... I mean, if I run the campaign file on a pc (with plenty of memory for the jvm) it goes up to 790-800 MB. If I remove an unused map it drops dramatically. I even managed to reduce occupation down to 200-300MB but I'd really like to bet...

A few performance questions

Hey everyone, for the sake of one of my players who has a very weak pc I'd like to ask you guys a few questions in order to find a balance between game performance and quality in my maps. First of all some background: we use 1.3b87 on a home wifi, each player has his onw pc and our ping to the route...
