Re: Modify many macros at once
Yep I know the beauty of Lib macros and I'm using them. The framework I use is a work-in-progress though, built with an as-needed philosophy, so the older macros are still very basic. Anyway, as usual the forums here are very helpful and exhaustive :) I used your second suggestion (selecting a bunch...

Modify many macros at once
Hi everyone I have a small collection of macros I use for most of my tokens, be they PCs or monsters, and they work well. Now I want to improve on one, but there's a catch: I already prepared some twenty maps filled with tokens, and all of them have macros loaded already. So, is there a way to chang...

Cyberpunk 2020 Framework
Hello everyone :) A friend developed this excellent framework and kindly asked me to upload it for him here for evaluation (if anyone is interested!). Highlights in my opinion are the character sheet and the amazing shooting macros! The framework is in italian but should be easy to understand to any...

Re: Macro error only one of my players is having
The test was a failure, he couldn't run the macro even with a stack size of 5-6, set right after booting the system.
Also, he's not inputting anything because the error appears as soon as he clicks the macro button, the input fields don't even come up.

Re: Macro error only one of my players is having
Thanks for the indepth explanation! I had infact trouble understanding exactly what stack size is, now it's clear
What about trying this first: start maptool as soon as the system is booted, so it will be able to set max\min memory and stack size as inputted? Could that help, at least as a test?

Re: Macro error only one of my players is having
Here's the macro, it's got huge input actually: <!-----------APPLICO ADDESTRAMENTO---------------> [h:Skill_Class1=Skill_Class] [h,foreach(Skill,Skill_Rank),code: { [h:Gradi=json.get(Skill_Rank,Skill)] [h,if(Gradi>0): Skill_Class1=json.set(Skill_Class1,Skill,1);Skill_Class1=json.set(Skill_Class1,Ski...

Re: Macro error only one of my players is having
Gah, we used the same workaround for B87 even with B84 hoping it would work. Anyway, even with only java6 he's still encountering the same problem. We're trying with b89 now, he's getting a stack overflow error again but this time the error message is "A stack overflow has occurred. This is com...

We're still on b84. He tried both with java7 + workaround and with only java 6, to no avail.

Macro error only one of my players is having
Hello everyone :) One of my players is encountering this error whenever he launches a single macro. Everyone else (me and the other players) have no problem with it, even when I launch it from his token. The macro then must be ok. I'll link the error he receives, hoping someone can shed some light o...

Re: Macro behaving randomly
Code was already tabbed in the macro, it just didn't translate here on the forum :) I've tried the pause debug, but it seems the bug is sneaky and won't happen while I'm watching. Tonight during actual play I'll try it again in collaboration with one of my players who's into macros too, hoping somet...

Re: Macro behaving randomly
Yep, that's exactly what the macro should be doing :) A little explaining: I have a macro that lets players set custom condition for their character (for example, they're affected by the Rage spell, that gives +2 Str, +2 Con and -2 AC) through an input macro. The condition is stored as a json object...

Macro behaving randomly
Hello everyone :) I have a weird problem with a macro: most of the time it works like a charm; sometimes, doing the exact same operation, it gives a different (wrong) result. First of all, I'll paste the code: [h:Name=macro.args] [h:Condizione=json.get(CustCond,Name)] [h:Attuale=json.get(Condizione,...

Secret macros help
Hello everyone! My group plays Pathfinder through Maptools and as time passes we're building macros as needed. We've often encountered a problem though: when running a macro with an output readable only by some players (or the DM only) the other players see an empty line instead, negating a bit of s...
