With macro's you can display frames on players screen, and with that you can build html page that looks like a character sheet. Not sure how well closeframe() will work tho, unless you tracked the frame.
Bag of Tricks(BoT) mentions in its settings, so not sure if that what makes it work or not.

Re: Showing portrait on player client when selected by GM
There is an option somewhere I saw once, but can't find it now. But there is an option to run a second instance as a slave. Maybe it was a plugin? But you have the slave and master running on the same host, and when there is something like a pop up it shows on both? I can't find this again, but I re...

Tencer:
I like the idea of only showing what the current player sees, I might steal this for my use.
Aliasmask:
I think you grab the wrong screen shot, yours is highlighting the wrong options.

Re: Back in the Saddle
Screen protector is an awesome idea, never thought of that. That much better then a piece of glass. I got some thinking to do before next summer. Was planning doing this in the summer time next year.

Re: Back in the Saddle
I do got the skills, I actually built my table 15 years ago. The monitors I was looking to fit in the hole was around $200, and would be able to remove it after games. But do know a tv behind glass can create weird artifacts at different angles, so why I liked the projector idea. I was thinking with...

Re: Back in the Saddle
Thanks for the details I will look into this. Currently we play around out frontroom table, and use 65 inch tv for the map. I was looking at getting a 27 inch monitor to drop into my table(It has a granite insert). But was looking at touch screen options, which after awhile of thinking kinda went aw...

Re: Back in the Saddle
Ohh that's a great idea, I have been debating on moving the mapping from my wall hanging tv to a tv embedded in my table. But a projector and a white board would be safer for the electronics, no chances of scratching it. My question is how high of a quality did you go on the projector? What kind did...

Re: MapTool on Raspberry Pi 4 with Raspbian
With the arm version I don't think is possible. You will have to switch to an x86 based SoC. The Atomic Pi, is a decent choice, its same price range, not as versatile but can run maptools on it with no issues. I tried myself couple years back, and many packages and tweaks later I can to the conclusi...

Re: MapTool 1.5.7 Release Candidate 2 Available
I did download RC1, cause I wanted to play with the playclip function. It does work much better then then stream for my quick sounds, I have used it for traps, when triggered they display a message and play a sound. Now the sounds play each time and now weird noise at the end of the clip.

So question, what has changed between these two RCs? Also how do you access the Perlin feature?

Re: Crazy/fun thought experiment ...
Well you can also get the foot steps on the map, BoT has the feet tokens that show the last movement made. Could take those and tweak the token, but how it works not sure. I have yet to delve into that code, since it works and no need for changes to fit my game style.

Re: Melek's Simple 5e Framework - Updated 11/2/19 - Version 1.3
If I end up using it I might just build a character sheet, right now my players are not a Yes for such a deep dive to using maptools for everything yet. We do play in person so it more of a map on the tv for battle. But I have been looking to add more to make my life easier as a dm. Thanks for the r...

Re: Hide or disable certain macros
You could change the color from green to red depending on the state also. So if the macro red, not enough actions for it. If it's green the action is available.
