Re: Nice to meet you ...
Your best bet on that is to sign up to the Discord channel for MapTool. (In general, there's a lot more activity there these days, and certainly so among the devs.)

Re: DriveThru RPG?
There are settings for newsletters and how publishers can contact you directly under Account-->Notifications. If those are what's not working, I'd submit a ticket (under Contact Us at the bottom of every page). If it's unsubscribe links in the emails, I'd submit a ticket on that, too. Both should wo...

Re: DriveThru RPG?
Interesting. I've dealt with them for many years, and do not recall ever getting a single email from that that wasn't either an order confirmation or a response to a trouble ticket.

Re: Recurse limit hit while finding token
I have no idea what happens when you name a UDF with an actual built-in function name, but it seems like that might not be the best idea.

That particular feature is a bit obscure. It's bitten quite a few people.

Re: RPTools.net connection for IPv6 only networks
If their router is blocking incoming connections, your only other alternative is some variety of VPN, like Hamachi or ZeroTier (both of which are used successfully on a regular basis). (Or, in theory, running the server on something like the Amazon cloud, which has been done, but it's pretty demandi...

Re: Error editing macro
It wouldn't hurt to check the Windows Path setting to make sure there's no stray references to Java there, though I would have expected the error message to change if that were the case.

Re: Error editing macro
If you have Java installed separately, that may be the problem. MapTool has its own version of Java, and it's very particular about which version. Try uninstalling it and MapTool, with a reboot, then reinstall MapTool.

Yeah, that sounds like the image is twice the size of the door, with half of it being transparent. It's the easy way. Something like this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1a678pk ... sp=sharing

Re: MapTool 1.8.0 Beta 2 Released
I suspect a great deal of attention is being spent getting the wiki working again.Full Bleed wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 3:07 amThings were chugging along pretty well... but the 1.8 project hasn't been updated for 17 days now... :/
Maybe there are just too many professional sporting events going on right now.![]()

It would also be helpful if there were documentation on it somewhere in the wiki, but I can't figure out where it should be.Full Bleed wrote: ↑Mon Sep 21, 2020 12:48 am
It would be helpful if you let the devs know what functions aren't working with brackets...

There's a channel on the RPTools Discord devoted to that very subject (it's called "rptools-non-x86").

Also, for your reference, you will often get a quicker response on the Discord channel, which sees more traffic these days than the forums. But either should get you a response.
