Question about the baGUID field in the content.xml file

Hi there me again with my .Net windows app to create Tokens for Maptools. This is probably a question for the developers but I'll start here. In the content.xml file for a token there are a number elements that use a field called baGUID. However, the value in this field doesn't match the format that...

Another question on token file layouts

When you look at the token properties in Maptool under the config tab you can set the token size for the creature.

However, I can't find anywhere in the xml layout files that show this property.

Can someone tell me where it is?

Thanks.

Re: Token File Layout

I might.

However, I wrote it for my own personal use and I'm not sure I want to put in the effort of supporting it.

That said, if anyone wanted it on a as is basis something could probably be arranged.

That was it Phergus.

I changed my code to create the properties doc using an XMLDocument and now every thing works just great.

Thank you very much.

Re: Token File Layout

Ok that makes sense. The property file is then only one I didn't use an XMLDocument to create because it seemed to be the same for all Tokens and is very small. I'll revisit that and see what happens. My MT version is 1.4.1.8 and that is the Version some of the Tokens I am looking at were created wi...

Token File Layout

I am working on a .net program for managing my encounters for my D&D campaign. No I am not looking for any .Net help. A feature of my screen that creates and manages the Monsters & NPCs is the ability to generate a MapTool Token .rptok file. I have used a number of existing *.rptok files and used th...

Token File Layout

Is there such a thing as a Doc, File, whatever, that gives the layout of a token file? If so where would I find it? I did do a quick browse of the svn site, but all I see is the java source code and a few other things. The reason I'm looking for this is that I have been building a .Net application t...

Maptools Ver: 1.4 What is wrong with the following [r, if (result == ""): result = wepstr ; result = result + "," + wepstr ] I am getting the following error:   Invalid condition in IF(result == "") roll option.        Statement options (if any): r, if (result == "...

Re: Help: What am I doing wrong?

Never mind I found my problem. It had nothing to do with the code itself.

The AC property had more than just the AC number. I was something like "17 (Splint)" so all I have to do is split off the non numeric stuff and I'll be good.

Help: What am I doing wrong?

I am trying to use the if() roll option. I've used it else where and the code I am having trouble with now used to work just fine. I've mangled the code itself just to figure out what is going wrong. So to begin with here is what isn't working: [h, if(attackResult >= acvalue): msg = "hit" ...

Re: Lost Mine of Phandelver (5e, with built in framework)

You may want to use a better map for the caves. I found the miss-aligned grid on the 10 foot map unusable. Here's a link to 5 foot maps. m I don't understand -- how is the map misaligned? You have to turn the grid on. I scaled the map so that the original map image has exactly 120x120 pixels in eac...

Re: Newb looking for basic help: How to use a Framework

Thanks wolph42 and paulstrait. Wolph42 I will check out the links. Paul, thanks for the offer. But I'll let you put that time to putting together a help doc. Far more people will benifit that way. Besides my personal time schedule is currently so full I barely have time to prep for my next session r...
