Re: json dump when calling macro
Thank-you, both, for the response. I actually got away from the issue by moving the logic that needs the json macro out of the presentation. That seemed to eliminate the problem for now. However, I will triple-check my comments (I have a rather large amount of them to explain how the macro is used a...

json dump when calling macro
Hello Folks; Running into a rather frustrating issue that I have not run into previously. Part of the difficulty will be attempting to explain... Here goes: I have created a weapons "database" that is a series of jsons. Example: [H: noneData = json.set("{}", "Weapon", &...

Re: Stripped down version of my campaign file
Thank-you, aliasmask;
I agree that should cut down on a lot of stuff. Would you put the entire campaign file to a GIT repository, or would you break out the various macros individually?

Stripped down version of my campaign file
Hello Everyone; This has probably been addressed, but my searching skills lacked the capability to find such a topic. I've been working with maptools for a couple of years now and my Pathfinder campaign file is littered with half-baked scripts and whatnot that I have been working on. Have some produ...

Re: MapTool Pathfinder resources
There's a macro called Import Token (Actually PFStatblock2Token). You can go to the SRD and copy from the Creature name through ecology and it will parse the data for that creature on the selected token. Hello aliasmask- don't mean to be dense, but where would I find the PFStatblock2Token macro? Th...

Re: I messed up.
Thank-you for the tips. I think I might just change my push to talk key from "Alt" to something else... Like I said, my bad. I've been around the block long enough to know I should save constantly to avoid these types of issues. Good to know about the defaults. I currently run 1.4.0.5, and...

I messed up.
So I was hosting our weekly Pathfinder campaign on Maptools using Discord for voice chat. After a couple of hours, during a fairly complex battle sequence, I was attempting to use an arrow to reflect possibilities of where one of the players could cast their web spell, when, suddenly the map disappe...

Re: derived properties failing
Hello;
Just perusing your code, I come across this:
#*Dexterity :10
#*DexMod:[dex*2]
Did you mean [Dexterity*2] ?

Re: Spell Reference D&D 3.5/Pathfinder SRD
Thank-you, aliasmask. I went into Lindsay's framework, exported the two tables and then imported them into mine. Appears to work like a charm!
Now to sic my players on it!
Again- thanks to both you and lindsay for your amazing work.

Re: Spell Reference D&D 3.5/Pathfinder SRD
Hello Aliasmask. I know this thread is a bit "long in the tooth" but I am very interested in taking this spell library out for a spin. I was able to download the rptok files, but when I click the broken image to download the zip files (for the tables), I get a dropbox error that states the...

Wow. I would hate to see folks just give up on MT. Granted, I've just recently discovered it, but I am having a blast creating my framework and working through all of the features. The open source and helpful community of MT is pretty powerful. And- my work will always be here- it is not beholden to...

Re: MapTool file size issues
Also note, for any tokens which are on the board, if you use individual vision and FOW, you might want to clear out(right click->Vision->clear Exposed Area or something like that) prior to deleting the token. I don't remember for sure, but I think that tokens retain their exposed FOW area because w...

Re: Sad Day...
I'm coming into this party somewhat late, but I have to say that looking at the VTT options out there, I really like what Maptools has to offer. Of course, my friends and I grew up when building computers from Heathkits was all the rage, so roll-your-own is very attractive. We're in the discovery ph...

Re: Undead with bad smell / frightening presence
It is very difficult to "frighten" player characters. D&D, Pathfinder, et. al. boils down encounters into mathematical formulas. The closest a GM can get is to provide the illusion that something will diminish the character's capabilities. The old D&D vampires were a consistent fri...
