Re: MapForge (battlemap-making software)

One-third funded, 23 days remaining. I still think you should integrate Tile Forge into Map Forge (provided they are compatible with one another). They are both Map Building tools. Call it Map Forge Pro. Add a $20 tier to this kickstarter for people to "upgrade" to the Pro version. Give p...

Re: Performing action inside of maptool from a trigger outside it. (api?)

Sounds like I have an immense amount of research to do. I think one of my players has a bit of a programming background and may be willing to assist me.. Thanks as always. Once this is done I am gonna have the most advanced maptool system out there, lol. You already might... that's quite a setup! H...

Re: resolution for maps in MapTool ?

With tokens 50x50 as it says in the wiki. I would go with larger tokens... anything that says 50x50 was probably from a long time ago (when MT was still a 32 bit app). I like my tokens to be substantially higher (usually in the 200-400 range) so when you zoom in the image resolution holds up better...

Re: Best approach for handling overlapping areas on a map ?

Does anyone have a preferred method of handling dungeon maps that contain overlapping sections? What I'm referring to are maps that show passages or rooms running either above or underneath other areas on the same map. You can see an example of what I'm talking about here: https://dysonlogos.blog/2...

Re: VBL Sometimes Not Working

Hi all, During gameplay, we're seeing a very sporadic glitch where the VBL isn't working as expected and players will see an entire room they haven't entered yet, despite the fact that the area is entirely surrounded by a VBL line. We're using 1.13.1, and we noticed this problem on an earlier versi...

Didn't check the files, but this should be the sources.
Finally! Thanks.

They should make it more accessible... Open Source is a huge positive and they might get more participation if it was more visible.

It's good if you've joined the server (or at least it works for me).
I've joined the server. The link doesn't work for me.

I've searched the server. And don't see the source linked anywhere.

At this point I don't much care and consider it closed source. ;)

Re: Campaign Cyclopedia

I guess linking to the actual source is tough. ;) https://fantasiaarchive.com/ Went here. Could not find source. Then to their discord channel. Went here. Did a search for "open source". Did not find anything. Then under FAQ, there is a bullet point 8. Could not find FAQ. Not on the site o...

At least on the wiki page they wrote:
Fantasia Archive is a free, open source, offline world-building & writing tool packed to the brim with helpful features for any game-master, writer, or world-builder!
I don't see the source anywhere. You have a link?

Re: Campaign Cyclopedia

My help maybe a bit weak because I searched for a software, found one and was so content with it that I never tested another one. So my personal favorite is: Fantasia Archive (https://fantasiaarchive.com/) Looks really interesting. Love that it's local/offline usable. I do wish it was open source t...

Re: Campaign Cyclopedia

Just in case you don't know about some of these: Realm Works (by Wolf Lair, the same group that made Hero Labs) https://www.wolflair.com/realmworks/ I think that thing shot itself in the foot with recurring costs and online requirements. But, on the surface, it has just about everything a GM needs t...
