More Notes fields

Hi, The players in my group want me to create more multiline "Notes" fields on their character sheets. Possibly on different tabs. Possibly multiple fields on the same tab. The current notes field (available on the token) and accessible by the "getNotes()" works fine but with the info stored by the ...

Re: Strange Output Behaviour

OK, That's interesting. I will definitely play around with that, and may use it in the end. But I would still like to know why, what I did, does not work. I know the "IsNotDead" macro processes the "Display Message" macro, (which in the original code it does a great deal more). But it just doesn't g...

Strange Output Behaviour

Hi All, I am trying to get an understanding some strange code behaviour. In the example below I have removed a large amount of code for ease of explanation. I have a macro called "TokenActions" that calls a macro called "DisplayMessage" for each token in its list. I wanted to add a condition to only...

Now I see. I was looking at the wrong boxes.
Thanks for that.

Re: change token layout image

Hi, I seem to have a similar problem. I want to change the "Layout" image of a token but the Layout Box in the Config tab does not seem to provide that option. The Portrait and Handout boxes both have the greed +. The Layout box does not. If this is not doable then is there an easy way to transfer a...

Re: Strange comma artifact in table output

Hi,

Thanks to both of you.
I spent sometime understanding aliasmask's solution (learning experience).

I also used Full Bleeds fix on some other macro's.

Re: Output not going to Chat

Ha,
Found it.
[h: castLink = macroLink("Cast", "[email protected]", "", jsonData, Id)]

should be:
[h: castLink = macroLink("Cast", "[email protected]", "all", jsonData, Id)]

Output not going to Chat

Hi, After, my previous question where I was putting together a spell list on the users character sheet, I have now added a "Cast Spell" link on the spell line. The problem is that the output does not go to the Chat window. My previous stand alone macro has an output like this: Casting: <b>A Spell!</...

Re: Strange comma artifact in table output

Strange comma artifact in table output

Hi, I get a strange line in my table when I create it using a foreach loop. Every second line is a ",". I can't find a wayward comma. Any ideas? Token data: SpellsAlchemy:[{"Name":"Spell1","Level":1,"SkillPoints":222,"Rank":33,"Description":"Spell Description 1"},{"Name":"Spell2","Level":1,"SkillPoi...

Re: Getting value from a dropdown list in a Dialog bo

Yes I already have the macro that used input.
But this whole thing started because the players wanted a floating window that was permanently on there desktop.

Re: Getting value from a dropdown list in a Dialog bo

Hi, thanks for that. I've just spent my whole evening getting my head around it. ------- [h: Dice1 = "4,6,8,10,12,20,30,50,100,1000"] [h: NumberOfRolls = 1] [h: DefaultDice = 100] [h: link = macroLinkText("[email protected]:Miror","all")] <html> <body> [dialog("Dice Roller"): { <form action="[r:li...

Re: Getting value from a dropdown list in a Dialog bo

I should also point out that I don't want a submit button. I want to pass the info to the macroLink.
My intention is to have a number of these on the dialog.

Re: Getting value from a dropdown list in a Dialog bo

well I have read it. In fact its where I got the basics of my example code. I admit that there is a serious lack of understanding here as I still do not understand how variables are passed on with the submit button. As I understand it there is a link between these lines: ------ [h: link = macroLinkT...
