Re: Paizo Strikes again, Bestiary PDF to be only $9.99
...didn't add in any artwork costs to your numbers... Thanks, from all us artists out here. FWIW, most RPG art is paid for at well under what the market would bear for more mainstream markets. With the exception of the top RPG publishers (and even then, only a few within that structure), no one is ...

Re: POLL: Do you actually use FOW and Dynamic Lighting?
I could give or take fog of war in most cases. I would only use it in something like a dungeon crawl, which I run practically none of. Vision blocking is pretty darn useful, though dynamic lighting is not high on my list. I don't mind players knowing the layout of a building, if the exploration of s...

Re: OSX: How to change the stack size and memory usage options
I just upgraded to Snow Leopard, and this method works beautifully. I did have to do some Googling to find out what the strings referred to, but it was a simple change.
Snow Leopard rocks, by the way.

Re: Hero 5th ED macro set, brad's
Updated. Not something on the list. Last game I noticed a lot of wasted time while people where measuring to different targets and asking about range penalties. So, there is now an addition to the Attack Powers macro. There is a drop down list at the bottom of the input list. It is for reference on...

Re: Making a world map
Hello!! First post here so be gentle :D I was wondering if someone has a "walkthrough" of sorts to show one how to make a world map. I'd rather learn and make my own than use someone's and modify that...where is the fun in that, right? Thanks!! It's not quite a walkthrough, but I recently...

That looks very elegant. Does it solve the Java update problem, then? Because I'm upgrading to Snow Leopard tomorrow.

Re: Rolling back to b56 on a mac.
Ahhh, i think I see. I must have missed this in the documentation: clicking on the backwards apostrophe under the tilde key converts it into a normal apostrophe. I don't know how in the dozens of powers I have created I must have missed this fact. In any case, this must be my problem. Things should...

Re: Seamless Tiles
one other question... in photoshop 5.5, how do you make an object (for example, a table) and preserve the transparency so that you can drop it on top of another tile in Maptools? I should know how to do this, but for the life of me I cannot seem to do it! You save them as PNG files though there is ...

Re: Seamless Tiles
If you are using Photoshop, try adding a bevel effect to the layer, rounded and fairly large, to give them a weathered look, or smaller and sharper for newe flagstone. A slight inner glow set to Shadow might also work. Note, you'll need to work with a larger texture and then cut it down to size from...

Re: Hero 6E Macros
Something that I have just started implementing that you guys may find useful in both saving space in the chat window and dealing with what parts of an NPC roll that you want the PCs to see. I made token property called "extra". Then through a macro, whether and attack, skill, or whatever...

Wouldn't that be a pain if you needed to correct a bug? Wouldn't you need to update each and every token?brad wrote:I want to keep the macros only in the tokens.

Re: Hero 5th ED macro set, brad's
In my Filemaker set-up, I have a button for "Recover One" and "Recover All". The first recovers the selected character, the second gives a recovery to the whole board. I also have "Re-set One" and "Reset All", which bring stun and body totals to full. Actually...

Never mind, I upgraded with the new and improved webstart for b57 and it loads just fine. I'll let you know if I find any problems.
